Payment
The app does not allow payments from none Thai CC and bank accounts. If you were planning to use the app to pay your bills electronically with a non Thai bank/cc don’t waste your time. As many foreigners here, we are not allowed to have a Thai bank account, please make the payment options to include foreign Debit/Credit cards please.

Terrible UI & Card payments do not work
This app has really gotten on my nerves. It looks like it was designed by a first year University student who designed a school project. The payment gateway is unnecessarily complex and it just doesn’t work when paying by card

Please Bring Back the Older App
The old MEA app used to work fine for many years and made paying for multiple electric bills easy. The new app may look more flashy and colorful but it lost its functionality and the user interface is not intuitive. It won’t let you see all your electric bills summary in one page anymore. Even when logged on, my multiple electric bills I added again don’t show up at all and it also won’t let me add them again…. Now I can’t see any of my electric bills… please just bring back the old app, it was working fine and well. Now nothing works in this new version.

Difficulty Logging In Due to Missing Meter Number
Dear App Development Team,
With the recent update, I noticed that user data is no longer carried over automatically, and we are required to log in again from scratch. For those of us living abroad, it is very challenging to obtain the meter number from the monthly hard-copy bill.
At present, I am unable to access my account because I do not know my meter number, which makes the login process impossible.
I kindly request that you consider providing an alternative method of retrieving or verifying the meter number, or allow users to log in using other identifiers. This would greatly improve the usability of the app, especially for overseas customers.

The update made my meter and bill inaccessible. I guess they want to move all their customers back to paper bills. Excellent work.
Half-backed app
This new version is a half baked app that should stayed in beta. The update is actually a total rework of was a pretty polished app. It is a step back in my opinion. While the app allows you to choose English as interface app, the login screen defaults back to Thai with language option greyed out. Once you overcome this obstacle you can see your usage trend both in units and cost. The previous app allowed you to compare both to last year usage and cost. Which I thought was pretty useful. Apparently the developer deemed that information excessive and this was done away with. I can’t comment on Thai version but the English version needs some further work. In fact I would not mind if the MEA reverted to the previous version. If ain’t broken don’t fixed is a pretty good rule to go by. If the app will be reworked let me make a suggestion borrowed from my old utility company which used to include average monthly temperature along with usage to better gauge if unusual flutter due to unusual high:low temperature.

Unfortunately last version broke credit card payments
Used to work well - latest version broke credit card payments. Goes thru until need to type in PIN number from the bank and then… the next/ proceed button is missing so cannot advance and complete payment. Hope can be addressed soon.
Another app that winds up not accepting a US card
After stating all cards accepted and after you give them all your card information. Usually these local apps just reject your US card instead of telling you in advance they will not work. This one went through the whole process, including my bank requiring a text code to confirm. I suspected it would be a waste. Oh well.

Decent app, harasses for location
This app would get five stars from me if it was updated for the latest phone screen sizes, didn’t hassle me for my location every time I opened it and saved my payment details for future payments.
