You're right that the free tier is limited: every AI answer costs us real money, and 5 a day is what we can give away sustainably. Where I'd push back is 'wrong on most common issues': if it got your vehicle wrong, email support@mechai.app with the car and the question and I'll review the exact answers myself, fix what's wrong, and add a free month of DIY so you can judge it properly. — Alex, MECH AI

Fair hit: asking a question and getting a plan screen first is a bad first minute. There is a free tier (5 AI Mechanic questions a day, no card needed), so if it went straight to a paywall for you, something misfired.
