On many occasions, I find that Medely caters to the Surgery Centers and not the Nurses. For example, if an incident occurs, the Nurse is penalized and they take the facility side. Another issue is multiple times, nurses pass up on other shifts to work a Medely shift. And when we arrive, we are sent home early and pay is docked. If it were a few times, I can understand. But it happens weekly and Medely allows Nurses pay to be docked continuously.

Medley nurse for 11 years
I’ve been using the medley platform for around 11 years now. I’ve moved a few times, started a family, changed jobs and medley has always been an easy to update and use platform for per diem jobs. I’ve made countless connections and rapport with facilities over the years. The pay is very competitive and pay out is quick and easy. The app is very easy to use and update all your credentials and info. I will forever be using medley. I have never even been tempted use anything else!

Medely Staffing was wise to create this app because we (healthcare personnel) can be independent contractors. The app is easy to navigate. My only issue is it should allow multiple uploads. It had to contact support to get approval for my TB/Quantiferon labs, otherwise it is great. Helps me stay afloat.

RUN!!! Terrible App and Company
The app is not the the best constantly has bugs and freezes. The jobs on the app are usually fraudulent because the hours posted are NEVER what you work. The facilities on the app are abusive , ignore the fact that you are owed a lunch break, some places list very little details. The lack of transparency and the fact that we aren’t allowed to review these places like you can on Clipboard puts the professional at risk. This company is all about making money off of us. The markup is 20%. And I only know that because a facility let me see what the real rate was. We are misclassified as 1099 and we are really W-2. So you end up getting screwed on taxes. This app and many others are just predatory to Nurses! Like I said with the app problems and shady business practices make this app horrible! Please RUN!!

App with some bug,freeze, but it ok, can work with that. Many job in New York and Jersey, a lot of options, convenient. But not guaranteed hours, employer post 8 hours in fluoro, but in reality it always less, like 5 and you get pay for 5 and lose. Its not fair since you trust and pick their offer instead get another one, but another one does the same.

I initially joined after hearing the great reviews over social media but I notice extreme delays in the app rather it’s a notification or actually trying to accept the job. iMessage notification stating there’s a shift and in less than 10 seconds there’s no shifts available THEN after 2 minutes I get a email about the shift that is not there or I’d accept the job then be told it’s no longer available. I get it the shifts go fast but this is increasingly becoming a frustrating issue. I’ll unfortunately have to let this app go.

The onboarding is a smooth process, kind and professional recruitment process. They are very strict on attendance. I have never had such a great nursing per Diem experience through an app as I do with Medley they are hands down the best that’s out there! I’ve been working as a RN 17 years Medley is more like Aya or AMN but with more per Diem completely professional and great support team. Pro ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

Any healthcare professional who wants to use Medely must complete a verification process, including a screening with our team of RNs, uploading valid credentials, a background check, and a skills self-assessment. Typically, this process takes less than five days. If it takes more than two weeks, please email us at support@medely.com or call (888) 858-7660.
Could be a lot better
Facilities should be required to list the OR procedures they are seeking help for. If I’m circulating a room, it would be fair to me AND the facility if I knew what I was committing to. Secondly, the App “hides” the name of the facility for reasons I really can’t imagine. You can’t see who you are booking with until you actually book the shift. That is so dumb. Why is it a secret?

Deleting immediately
I am so done working for app based companies. If you have any issues, good luck trying to get in contact with someone. The chat will automatically redirect you to the website. Submitting a ticket? Good luck getting paid on time. Now you get to wait 5 more business days for payout. If your motion is to work for fast money, do yourself a favor and get better at managing your finances. Lol working for an app will surely fall short for you some how some way.

Unique App
As a Traveling RN, I have worked with many of the PRN local apps for RN shifts, and Medely is unique in that when you pick a shift and book yourself—you are automatically booked in real time. Unlike other apps that work for facilities first and me—the worker, SECOND. They let you request a shift, but you may wait for hours or days as facilities wait to book you until last minute, leaving you hanging and waiting. Then, they may even later cancel you.[NurseDash🤨] Medely is different, they let me truly secure a shift in the moment, haven’t cancelled me and really seem to have integrity and priorities intact for both parties. Thank you Medely!
