Once was good
Now is slow and screen jumps around in attempt to get you to click an ad. Requires frequent updates. Used to be my go to. No longer.
Too bloated now
Long term user of the app as a quick resource. It has now become much too bloated and slow to load and slow to search. Make it faster, minimize any ads or other popups. Those of us in the medical field who want to use it as a quick reference don’t want to wait for 10-15 sec before we can search or have to click through some news popup or other interruption.

Skip the app and use the web
I removed one star each for the following reasons.
First for some reason, my newsfeed has displayed the same stories for four months now. Not sure what the issue is, because neither refreshing nor updating the app have made a difference. No matter how interesting the stories were when posted, they are a bit dated at this point.
Second, at the end of the day, I prefer a larger font for reading, yet there does not appear to be a way to enlarge it. Please, Medscape, take pity upon those of us with tired eyes and make it easier to enlarge the font size. If it already exists, make it easier to figure out how.

Garbage now with AI
I used to love MedScape but now with AI it’s impossible to find/read current in-depth articles. AI is a consolidation of years of data, much of which is irrelevant in some treatment fields. Just give me an option to use the “old” MedScape format without AI in my face please.
OBG calculator
After the recent update, obstetrics and gynaecology entire section calculator has disappeared from calculator section. It was convenient and reliable. Please add it back

Garbage after AI update
As an ER doc, I used to rely on MedScape for quick access to medication information, especially in the setting of critical illness and overdose. Having fast access to the dosing for uncommon drugs was a real safety boon, and the concise pharmacology information has been critically important more times than I can count. HOWEVER, after this AI update (which follows from the clunky expanded clinical content), the app is borderline useless. Every time I open the app, it has to reload itself as I sit there waiting and staring at the logo only to then be dumped into the AI-centric landing page. This is no longer a reference app. Instead, the MedScape App has become another piece AI-"assisted" garbage that wants to have a conversation and summarize information THAT ALREADY EXISTS IN THE ADJACENT TAB instead of allowing me to simply search for the drug and find the information that I need NOW!
MedScape, you get one star for content and one star for what the App used to be, but you can't keep going in this direction. In an attempt to jump on to the AI bandwagon, your utility has been compromised. Kindly hang your head in shame.

Actuellement, l'application Medscape n'est pas disponible dans d'autres versions linguistiques que l'anglais. Cependant, la fonctionnalité d'IA de Medscape est disponible en plusieurs langues, proposant des informations dans la langue de préférence de l'utilisateur.
More useless ai - a hard pill to swallow
Just what we needed. More useless ai in a medical context. Deleted the app because I don’t need it giving me false information about medication like every other awful gen ai chatbot out there.
User non friendliness
The new interface does not allow viewing of the topics that we click upon in the e mail. Instead ,a fixed rhetoric page appears that does not contain the article I have clicked to read. The older version was far more effective in reading about what I want to read
Poor function
Always issues with CME and education. The education programs don’t load most of the time. A lot of expired CME on there and it’s not stated clearly that it’s expired.

Crowded and slow
Previous versions were much cleaner and ad free. Now it's too crowded too complex and too slow because of ads and all the things going on. Please simplify the UI to make it more usable.
Non functional
Used to be my favorite medical app. Now won’t even open. Crashes immediately and closes every time I open it
Sad changes
Used this app for literally years! As additions rolled in some were useful to me others not as much. App was primarily used for pill identification and reading the happenings in the world of specialized medicine. Unfortunately with the removal of the pill identifier this app is now 85% useless to me and will be deleted. Such a shame as I used to recommend this app all the time.
