Cozy and Fun!

As a cozy gamer, this one is key! I had it and didn’t get into it, but gave it a second try and am now hooked. Crisp and fun.

9/10 Game

After playing for about 2 weeks here are my thoughts about this lovely game!

TLDR; I recommend this game, especially if it continues to be updated :)

Pros:
-Graphics
-UI layout
-Layout/Town vibes
-World feels active and feels “lived in”
-Amount of inventory space
-WIDE range of items, crops
-Noise, Music, Sounds
-Lots to collect from trees and rocks; often the 15-60 minute cool down timer doesn’t feel like it impedes game play and helps me “slow down” as a resource collector
-Quests that make you feel like you’re working for them (engaging and goal directed gameplay which I enjoy)

“Cons”:
-Hard to move around (cursor doesn’t follow finger, confined to small area); possibly either let the cursor move more freely, or locate it in the bottom left corner consistently so that other pop ups don’t cause it to think the player is clicking for something rather than walking)
——from this, because of difficulty moving around, the indoor spaces feel too large and maze like/empty. Good example of indoor space usage: Armory, Clean Paws, Greenhouse
-Symbols too high up for axe specifically, makes hard to determine which object can be used
-Small farm space. Would be nice to get the option to craft/purchase planters or more farm space.
-Doesn’t feel like much to do at Megadon Shores and Snowy Island besides fish, collect materials, and see 1 new merchant. Wondering if more could come from the “bazaar”, such as possible artifacts or rotating rare items that you can get from reputation points or hearts from townies (maybe this would only be 9-12 slots instead of 3 tabs long)
-Doesn’t feel like much to “make” within each of the professions. I would love to see an increase in items that can be crafted or made.
-A lot of items are available to be gathered/collected, but many of them don’t feel like they have a purpose besides being a filler item. I would love to see the ability to gift many/all items to villagers (perhaps for reputation points instead of hearts)

Suggestions:
-“Fish Oven” in The Rusty Starfish should count towards cooking profession
-Loading Screen is half blacked out and half background.
-See about adding in fishing rod upgrades, or the ability for the bobber to sink slightly faster when in the fishing minigame. I find the bobber going down is the only thing holding me back from consistently catching fish fast.
-Easier to organize the chests and between tabs in inventory. Can’t organize without lots of back and forth or difficulty. Perhaps even 1 “auto organize” button?
-Pancake recipe has the same description as Fruit Cake in The Dancing Chicken.
-Add in option to purchase or craft more chests for home inventory.
-Add in option to purchase or craft sprinklers.
-Unsure if it was my mistake on missing dialogue, but “Tab 1-3” did not make sense and caused me to not find out more buying inventory from NPC’s. Perhaps an icon that looks like a book/receipt, or a scroll bar? Could be user error, but I felt confused.
Maybe either 2 tool slots or option to purchase second tool slot? Seed slot feels unnecessary since it isn’t used as frequently (so far in early game).

Lost

This game has no tutorial or anything on what to do or how to do stuff . The characters tell you to make go do something but doesn’t show you where or how to get it done . I’m trying to do stuff to get what the mouse or whatever he is wants me to do but no idea what it means or how to do it. It’s cute but .. not very user friendly.
Can’t even get a refund when it’s not our fault.

Just amazing.

If you like your Zelda’s you will love this. Enjoyed every min so far. Only issue I have is I don’t get much work done as it’s addictive. Thank you developer.

Cute&Cozy

I absolutely adore this game! I’ve been playing it for an hour straight and don’t want to put it down! I love the layout and how easy it is to understand and figure things out. Also a big fan of the music and sound effects. You can tell the care and passion that was put into making this game and I just love it! Plus the fact of no adds or micro transactions AND free updates? It’s a no brainer, get this app! So worth it!
