Travelling gets easier when there is nothing left to look for. Nothing to print, nothing to sort, nothing to dig out of old emails. At the airport a glance at your phone is enough. When the flight leaves, which terminal, which reference number you are booked under. It is there even when the wifi is not, because the documents sit on your device rather than somewhere on the network. After you land you know who is meeting you and where. At the hotel reception you show the voucher without scrolling through your inbox first. And when you want to know what comes next, your trip stands in front of you in order, from departure to return. If something changes, you hear it from your travel agency. Not in an email that disappears between the offers, but here, where you are looking anyway. You can write back in the same place. The small things you would otherwise remember at the gate are prepared already: a packing list to tick off, a note about the right power adapter, a converter for the local currency, the German Foreign Office travel and safety advice word for word, and a reminder as departure comes closer. If your travel agency has switched the assistant on, it answers questions about your booking, late in the evening as well. How you get in You enter the email address your travel agency has for you and receive six digits. No password required. Then you type in the travel code printed on your confirmation, once. Travelling as a couple, the same code opens both phones. The app is the folder for this one trip, not a booking portal and not a search engine.
