I needed this to water veggies while on a 10 day trip. Flawless! I use all four channels for two underground systems, an overhead and a loose hose. Worked so well. I have a camera in the yard and could watch and verify functions, turning it on and off as weather demanded. Third season and still in love!

Melnor RainCloud
This app works on my MacBook Pro but won’t work on my iPhone 11. I called Apple and they were frustrated with the app Also. I contacted Melnor customer service and couldn’t solve the problem either.
Useless
The CEO of Melnor should be charged with fraud. The hub is unable to connect to their server much of the time. It crashes multiple times a day. Their server was down for an entire week not too long ago. This whole system is complete garbage. Customer support is unresponsive. This is nothing more than a very expensive manual valve.

Frustrating
Worked great the first time. Next use, so many problems with the valve unit consistently going off line. Shutting off when on manual mode mid water.
App and website not working
This is the second crash in less than a month. Totally unacceptable to not be able to control the device via the app or online. Of course, this is the most crucial time of the year for me with 95 temps in the forecast all week. I’ve tried to hang in but totally giving up that MELNOR will salvage this product and app. A real shame for such a major brand.

Never works
I’ll break it down….
1. App never opens up correctly
2. Customer support grade would be a C
3. Currently, the app is t opening correctly with just a white screen.
4. The sprinkler units that go with this app are just as bad. In order to replace or repair, customer service wants me to provide receipts for units I bought 2 years ago (wth).

5 years between updates
This app is utter garbage. Before they completely miss that they needed to renew their SSL, the app hadn’t been updated in five years. Just complete nonsense.

Same story as others; app just shows a white screen. Tried removing app and reinstalled, same story. At least the website is still working, for now anyway.
Shameless company
I bought the WiFi irrigation system just a year ago and it’s of no use now. The app shows a blank screen. This company is run by a bunch of crooks no one should buy any of their products
Zero Stars if I could
The product line is good in concept and abysmal with execution. The software was marginal however now it will not load at all on any device. One cannot manually program the timers without the app. One could log into their site, however, they come up as a security risk in both Safari and Chrome. The company allowed their certificate to expire. Customer service is non-existent. Was told that site was down but should be back that afternoon… that was a week ago. Now call customer service and I am put on hold for 15-20 mins and then told to leave a voice message. Trashing all the timers… sorry to polute the landfill.

Pitiful Interface and Performance
This is such a clunky user interface. I feel like nobody at Melnor has ever bothered to get feedback from their customers on it. In addition, periodically it just stops loading altogether which means my expensive Wi-Fi timer becomes a manual switch instead. I never would have bought this had I know just how bad the app was.

I’m having the same issue as the last two reviews. The app just brings up a blank page. The website shows there certificate has not been updated and is supposedly not secure. Really hoping there’s an update as the app was very convenient.
Was working great
Since the server switch over the app and program has been working great. For the last week all I get is a blank screen. The website seems to be working but wish they would fix the app.
It just works
Yes, the UI is outdated and doesn’t look like a modern app. But, it has all the features you could ask for. You can label each outlet, set different schedules, eco watering mode, quick manual on and off, rain delay and many many more. What’s more important is that they do stand behind their product. I had mine replaced due to leaks after three years of use. The customer service only needed to verify the serial number and shipped me the replacement right away. It is unfortunate that this Wi-Fi enabled product is out of stock anyway.

Blank Screen
The app doesn’t even load. It’s just a blank white screen. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled, nothing. No product support on their website either. Absolutely worthless.

Not loading
The app currently does not load anything. It’s just a blank page. I’m using the website instead now which appears to have something wrong with its SSL certificate. Otherwise I’ve been relatively happy with the app. The UI could be improved, but it works fairly well.
Don't Understand the Poor Reviews
Installed the app, CU and VU today (8/24/21).Works very well for me thus far. Programming option are numerous. I'm wondering about all the negative reviews. App store info says app was last updated 4 years ago yet there is a copywrite date of 2020 on the app home page. Interface is pretty darn good IMO.
