I like ordering online but
I feel that sometimes you just need to drive back there to see what you want! Maybe implement scan & pay through app then verify upon leaving the gate with attendant I like to browse & shop & I would’ve def spent more today if I could’ve added to my pre-paid order! ;)

Disorganized
After purchasing shutters and we were one short, we talked to the checkout gal said we could call another store and have a transferred to our local store. When I called Customer Service to have that done they said we don’t do that. I would suggest that management get everybody on the same page cause that’s frustrating. I have to drive another 22 miles to pick up something that should be shipped between stores.

The associate that answered my call was very polite and let me know how I could order this specific light and to pick up within 14 days! I wish I knew his name to thank him personally.

I’m not gonna lie
I can’t lie, I’m not gonna, but Menards is legit. Like, my new favorite store. Obviously can’t grocery shop completely there and I don’t want to anyway. The few grocery items they have is perfect. Except they don’t have the fire roasted popcorn anymore. Anyway, very useful store, for me. I know we all different but I love it. My first choice for many things. The checkout could use some improvement. The employees are direct, it can be taken as rude, but it’s not. It wouldn’t hurt to be a little nicer tho.

“Show in-stock items only” filter resets with every new search.
I’ve got some time to kill, so I’m spending it going to each of the hardware store apps that do this to drop this review. I know why they chose to implement this feature, online-only products need a chance to be seen too… but there’s a better way to do that than tricking us. I’ve even went to a different store a few times out of annoyance from this feature.

Processing fees
Why does it cost to process an online purchase? Makes zero sense. My order total went up 29% because of processing fees from purchasing online. What a scam!

Useful for ordering
When I went to make my 4th order through the web I checked items for availability. Evidently, I did not look close enough at 12’ length poplar as it immediately went to a delay of 3 days. Now after waiting 8 days…I get an email that says items on backorder…
That’s it. No, sorry it will be here soon or anything. No promise date. I guess I will tell my carpenter to go home and my customer- “ I will call ya if it ever shows up”. I am sure they will stop paying me!
