doesn’t do as promised

I got this app to find healthy places to eat out at and help me find better nutritious foods it hasnt suggested a single place I already know about in the area that is healthy. The top suggestions were taco bell, mcdonalds, and dunkin 🫩. on top of that they want me to pay 15 dollars a month or 45 dollars a year to look at nutritional facts and doordash suggestions essentially I can do that on my own for free….

Not free

Why make it seem like a free app until you put into all the info it says “try for free”. Nope you’ll end up charging who knows when. I’ll find something else.

Inaccurate Macros

The app is a great concept but after going through and checking a few options I noticed the macros are off by a lot. One example is a bacon and egg burrito is in the app as cal: 450, pro:25, carb:30, and fat:20. The restaurant nutritional guide lists it at cal:1099 pro:73 carb:39 fat:71. I big difference in a couple of those numbers. I think the “healthify” is something that is great but if you’re like me and watch macros the app does not list them correctly.

Trash

App is terrible. Make you pay after answering out 500 questions

Worst experience

This is a horrible app. It asks you thousands of questions before it shows you the calories but wait, before it does that, it asks you to register, and then to pay. Useless app.

Maybe have someone who understands these pains assist you with the app before you build it.

0 free feature in this app

Make that clear to not waste peoples time, I guess thanks for letting us download it for free.

Maybe the best welcoming app

Already got my preference fast and got me a free 7 day trial

Scam

Very confusing charge of zero dollars for a free trial, just to charge you god knows how much later on. Smells like a scam to me !

Wish it was free

What a scam

Super expensive to even have might as well ask AI to do what this app is intended to do for no fees!

Not free

One of those apps that are free to download not free to use wastes ur time setting up the app just to find out u have to pay , just make the app cost money stop wasting my time

Exceptional App

I JUST got this app as a Personal Trainer myself and one who makes content, finally. Off the rip, I love the EASE and SIMPLICITY of the app. The questionnaire at the beginning is so great though I wish some questions were more of a select all. The vast amount of restaurants in the directory is amazing, i love all the info the selections give you, choosing if u wanna be healthiest, slightly, or high protein, etc, and then the suggestion option as well as the explanation of what the choice is and does for your diet?! Amazing. Would love to be sponsored and get many people to share, join, download, and get healthy!!

Don’t waste your time

You need to get a subscription just to use the app, don’t fall for it I’m not paying ts

TikTok scam

Another TikTok scam made to make you spend money on a product that’s shouldn’t have a subscription at all. I will be just counting macros. The reviews are definitely botted.

Billing

I downloaded this app but didn’t really find much use for it after all so I cancelled it before the free trial was over and they still charged me

Love it

It helps me keep track of all of my macros. It finds healthier option at all my favorite restaurants

Paid Subscription

You download it for free but can’t access it for free. You hit a paywall that you can’t exit out of.

No free version and dishonest practices

I wanted to love this app, but I ran into several things that made it feel both cheap and dishonest.

Firstly, they have you go through a long process where they ask for your food and restaurant preferences as well as your personal information like birthday, height, weight, etc. They also have you create an account where you make a password and, of course, give your email. All of this personal information and time used to answer all these questions is before they hit you with a paywall.

Entry to the actual app is paid and it cannot be accessed, or looked at to see if you even like the app, unless you give your card info. They do have a free trial but you have to give them your banking/card info and actually join a subscription to look at anything.

They also use generative Ai for all their images and I’m assuming the UI as well. I understand this is a debated topic but I’m looking at it solely from a business perspective. Instead of hiring real artists, graphic designers, or app designers, they used the quick and cheep option that is also environmentally questionable.

So, to sum all of this up if you didn’t want to read all that (i understand lol): the developers want you to give them your birthday, email, hight, weight, banking information, permission to join a subscription, food preferences, and about 20 minutes of time you’ll never get back, before you can even *look* at the actual app content (which I’m only assuming is also 99% Ai generated images and UI).

I’m not against paid apps and I’m not against free trials. (Though, $14.99 a month for this app seems unnecessarily excessive) What I am extremely weary of is the idea that they’re wanting you to dump all your information into their hands before they even *tell you* that literally the entire app, and entry, is paid.

Everything I mentioned above is extremely easy to fix. If the developers are genuinely for the customers and want to build an app that will be extremely useful to a huge community of people, then they will listen and fix these issues.

My opinion right now is to not give your info and support over until the app is reworked. And if the developers see this, I hope you’ll listen to and genuinely consider some of what my (and others) concerns are and work towards fixing the app.
