Deleted after a day

Had fun the first day. Couldn’t continue the MAIN quest because I completed the dailies before I got to that point. /yawn seriously stupid coding. It should have seen the dailies completed and auto completed.

Today I log on after reset and now my dailies are things I couldn’t complete for weeks.

If you cannot get something so simple as having a cap on dailies to ensure new players get proper lvl quests, then you clearly do not care about new players sticking around. I can’t be part of something like that.

Guild requirement is a miss for me

I love all of the Merchant games and really wanted to like this game as well, but your progress being tied to a guild is maddening. These games are fantastic solo experiences, so I’m not sure why the decision was made to incorporate the guild mechanic so heavily but it’s killed the game for me.

I suspect if I wait it out long enough I can probably join a guild later on that has fully unlocked everything, but still not a fan of the overall design.

Highly impressed

I loved merchant rpg! This is a little more in depth and has a social aspect. Really enjoying the game thank you guys!!!

Doesn’t need to be an MMO. Does need less tapping, more auto-repeating.

I don’t want to have to keep tapping. Tap the map. Tap a map location. Tell your hero to attack. Confirm the attack. Tap to see the results. Tap to accept the results. Tap the map location. Tell your hero to attack…

Why doesn’t this stuff repeat on its own? Why is everything happening one menu at a time? Do I really need to craft just one iron sword, wait, accept it, then ask to make it again? And why is this an MMO? Why would I spend $35 for “all upgrades” if that’s going to shut down some day? What does this actually gain from being an MMO?

I liked the original Merchant when it released but wow have the wrong lessons been taken from how to improve on that…

What you want out of a mobile game

You can sit there and play for many hours or check back in sporadically. Lots of fun!

Sluggish

This new game feels sluggish compared to the RPG one. There is so much clicking and micromanaging that it’s exhausting. Im already burned out.

Great immersive game

This is a sort of spin off of Merchant RPG, another great game. Now it’s multiplayer in the sense that you can support your guild mates and pursue common goals.

The point of the game is to manage heroes who will fight monsters and come back with materials that you can send to your crafters or sell, much like the crafted items which you can sell or use to empower your heroes.

It’s very straightforward in scope, but the amount of personalization and depth in certain aspects of the game is impressive.

Not ready for prime time

Too much clicking with a poorly designed UIX leads to a game that is less fun to play the more you play it. Devs don’t communicate with the community actively.

So happy to have a merchant sequel!

This game brings back a lot of nostalgia from the original Merchant with a few 🔥upgrades. Thank you Retora!

Great game with devs that listen

This game is very similar to the original but BETTER I like the direction this game is going the devs listen to the community and care about there feedback ty for taking the criticism and making the game better

Great game

Cute art style, satisfying progression, and modest monetization. Definitely worth a try!

Less than average quality

I was excited to see what the next chapter for the Merchant series would be like and the game is finally released after years of development. I opened the game and the first thing you notice is the graphics are exactly the same as the first Merchant game. Next, I noticed an abundance of buttons to click just to complete a hero quest. There should not be so many things to click for simple tasks. Just click complete and move on.

Finally, there is absolutely no storyline, no plot, no premise, and no purpose. I don’t see a reason to invest time into a game that has no point. 10 years later and this is as far as the game has come is quite a letdown. I won’t even begin my review of Space Merchants because it was so bad.

I hope things get better in the future for this franchise.

I enjoy the gameplay

Folks We’re Back

One of the greatest games has returned and is better, do you like numbers getting bigger and better resources being unlocked? Then it’s time to clock in at Merchant Guilds. Enlist your heroes, make them gear, or sell it to the highest bidder, and send them off to kill a beetle 30 times so you can make them better gear or sell it at an even higher price
