Smarter isn’t always better
Purchased a smart light bulb and can’t get it to pair. I’ve reset the WiFi, my phone, lightbulb, and redownloaded the app. At least make the light bulb not flash so that it’s usable as a “normal” light bulb if pairing fails. Now I have a expensive strobe light in my living room 😂
wouldn’t buy again
Smart lightbulbs are not smart at all, very slow when coming on, switching colors and pretty much doing anything at all. Disconnect one and it’ll have you waiting on a pairing screen for 30 minutes, app interface will close and open on you without prompt, just terrible.
Terrible app and Terrible quality
I was going to use this for my 3D printer to monitor my prints, but the video quality is so unbelievably terrible that I can’t even see the print half the time. I was thinking about buying a second one until I saw the subscription fee! It’s way too much for a camera that’s hard to see out of. I tried adjusting the lighting, the actual quality in the app, and the position of the camera and it’s still just bad. I’m also not paying to link two cameras! Paying to link 2 cameras is outrageous. This is an extreme waste of money, and I wish I hadn’t bought it in the first place.

Horrible app for horrible device
I’d give it no stars if I could. The actual smart plug doesn’t work like it should. Setting timers on the app never works. The only thing you can do is turn on and off devices far from the house, but that’s only if it decides it’s connected. It boots you out of the app regularly, takes about 3 tries with the correct information to log back in, looses connection to the internet weekly, and the customer service has blatantly ignored me. At first they acted like they’d eventually help and they were looking into the issue and doing a “new update” but really they just dragged this on until the return window for the device closed then stopped responding. I asked for a customer service phone number and got no response. In hindsight I’d have just returned the device and spent the extra money on a better device and a better/more reliable company.

Worst smart device ever
Worst plug ever. Constantly have to remove and setup device because it gets disconnected somehow. I probably do this at least once a week. Do not recommend
Falla al mover la camara y voltear el teléfono
Al intentar subir o bajar la camara solo me permite arriba, en el medio o abajo, antes no tenia ese problema. Al girar el teléfono antes se veía exactamente igual que al derecho y ahora al girar el teléfono se ve con demasiado zoom. Si pueden corregir este problema la app sería perfecta. Tengo un iPhone 17.

Rip off
This app itself is a ripoff. The cameras work perfectly. I bought sd cards and was told I didn’t need a subscription. After few weeks of my cameras and playback working perfectly without subscription it’s now not playing videos back. I am so disappointed it’s like they want you to purchase a subscription despite the sd cards. Not only that the customer service sucks. It’s hard to get help. I am so frustrated and would never recommend this service to no one. I feel the cameras are great BUT the app needs improvement.

Over charged/under performance
Their plans are expensive and the quality of the camera is subpar. I will be switching to the ring cam like my friends.

App sucks
Have Mercury products trying to use but the app which I download from App Store doesn’t work at all try to add product (of which I wasted money on six) can’t be seen because the app is stuck on opening page. Try to hit the plus on top right hand corner to add one of the products and nothing… now I understand why they were in clearance. Dissatisfaction doesn’t cover it.

Doorbell camera
I would not recommend I cant get the camera to go off standby mode camera has been messing up since the day I got it and customer service wont do anything about it
App
The camera functionally works correctly, but the app constantly glitches out stay stuck on activation reset it to power off power back on delete the app put it back on. It works for a bit and then it glitches out again. I’m not happy with the results and Customer service while they’re responsive, they tell you to do the same basic troubleshooting techniques without escalating it to a tier 2 engineer which is disappointing. I have decided that I won’t be renewing and I’ll look to a different company.

Update is All About $$$
Did the Update and it looks like mercury is going to start charging you monthly or yearly just to use your camera cameras that you already purchased from them. This company has become really unethical.
Door camera
Only works for about 3 months then it says check internet connection when nothing is wrong with the connection can’t see or talk to anyone who rings the door bell it’s terrible will not suggest you buy this product I want my money back!

Waist of time!! Half the time they don’t work. The battery doesn’t last long. If you want a good and reliable camera get a Tapo .
Premium service still advertises
Pretty bogus to have the premium version of the app and get ads from the company. I would give zero stars if I could.
