Application keeps freezing
This application keeps freezing both on my iPhone 15+ and my iPad fifth generation mini. Ever since your last update where you change your logo. One has to reboot the device constantly to get this application to work.
Fix it!
The problem persists.
The application for Word and Excel keep freezing. One has to log in and out of application.

Have hard reset, Turned off devices and deleted and installed applications and problem persists.
It seems as if information does not get to application.

Documents opened on either Word or Excel take at least a minute to a minute and a half to load completely when first opened and if application is closed or remains idle. Thy used to open immediately.

Seriously, documents on Word 2000 on an XP Laptop opens faster than this.

Recent files opened on IPAD Mini 5th Generation and IPHONE 15 Plus from Onedrive do not remain on Recent files on this application.
Neither do files that are marked as Favorites remain in the Favorites section of Application

I use it on iPhone 17. I am a Disabled writer, and there are a decent amount of us. The word behaves like it’s a junkie on crack. when I find needed line, I cannot simply do a correction or anything. I need to hold my finger for at least two minutes before it quit jumping up and down like crazy. Word literally jumps into unpredictable ways like it’s like it’s insane, so after holding my finger for two minutes only then I can carefully select the part of the text. The search options work half of the time, it freeze half of the time; it freezes half its options. it’s the most dysfunctional app I’ve ever seen literally. You seriously need to do something about the word and iPhones.

Copilot Editing Over my Shoulder
There’s no way to turn off Copilot on the app. It’s constantly reading over my shoulder, suggesting the next word I should type, and underlining words I type that it thinks I should have written differently. It’s disruptive and irritating. I hate it.

Autosave is a bold faced lie
2 assignment consecutively that I have been working on did not save at the last moment when I was about to submit. I had to redo entire sections that were blank when I reopened the file. Unbelievable how unreliable this is. Update: Happened a 3rd time would not save even would not save copies!!
Is there no way to use this without signing in?
Tired of short-sighted apps assuming no one could possibly want to edit documents off-the-grid.

Microsoft seems to be going downhill fast with all the bugs they cant keep on top of - docs not saving, editing tools not working. Must be the advance of AI so what can you do … pen and paper?
Multiple user version ?
Went you buy MS family or a multi user version it is made very difficult to use on you next device.
You broke the keyboard!
The app no longer enables the keyboard for typing. Assuming it’ll get fixed in the next update but mildly infuriating that the app is useless until then.

I’m trying to finish some of my final assignments using Word document and it keeps crashing. It won’t allow me to open or edit any of the information and it seems like it’s not saving the projects that I recently did.
Read Aloud is getting there…
What happened to 1.25x read aloud speed? I use Word on my PC every day. I’m a book editor. I primarily use the app on my iPhone for the read aloud feature when I get a new manuscript. The 1x read aloud speed is too slow and the 1.5x speed is too fast. Please bring back 1.25x speed. And fix the other glitches with read aloud, like the random stopping for no reason. Overall, the app is strong, but there are bugs to be fixed.
