Once again broken
Once again, an update breaks the use word with an iPad using magic keyboard. Has happened more than once. The team that works on this app are idiots.
Decent app but…
Decent app but the way the screen jumps all over the place when your editing makes it nearly impossible to use. If that got fixed, it would be a solid 5 stars
Text to voice is good, but…
There’s still some room to improve. For example it can’t tell the difference between read and read (past tense) even with a proverb before or after it. Another example, it has no easy access to change voice. I’ been using Word a lot for English study.

Clunky difficult to use log in process can’t access despite buying a product terrible sync with other storage devices if they didn’t dominate the market I wouldn’t use it

What happened to free word docs?
Why is everything trying to be a subscription or paid service these days? Microsoft word is older than my parents. It’s time to release a basic word processing app that doesn’t cost people a monthly payment.

Renewal Issue
I purchased Microsoft 365 Family in February 2026. Now every time I use it, it takes me to an endless renewal screen. Spent time with Apple trying to resolve it. They said it’s on the Microsoft side.

So far so good, getting reacquainted with rusty computer skills.
Documents created by me and not letting me use as I want too. I hate this rubbish system
It is far too complicated, its creating documents that I do not want to and not allowing me to work on my own creations especially ones that I put a password on so nobody else could see it and now I cannot remove that password. Also as it’s a document for my family for when I have passed away. Also it keeps filing it on One Drive which I do NOT want, I just want the folder with my letters in it to be on my iCloud and nowhere else.

GREAT DOCUMENT WWRITER
Have used Word since the 1980s. The evolution of the program has been great though for some of us older folks keeping up is a bit daunting especially since as a retiree I don’t use a lot. It’s getting a bit pricey for fixed income seniors but I have tried other word processor programs and MS Word is by far the best. Short feature based training/refresher modules would be nice. Maybe cover templates, formatting, find and replace, dictionary management, etc.

Why does Microsoft enforce copilot on us. Word is a great program but I’m seriously considering moving to an alternative as I don’t need all is functions and it expensive for personal use
