Antiquated
Unbelievably difficult to set up and use, just to add a user to an organizational account. Calls me (!) to setup a login, doesn’t register typed characters, then locks the account. Catch up to actual banks. Will not continue to use this bank.
Ugh
This app won’t let you reset password. In order to get to safe card to turn off on I have to delete the app and re add it. The same with check deposit. You cannot rely on this app and that’s not okay!
Freezing
The app is great but it’s been freezing lately and it’s so annoying I’ll be in line and it will just non stop loading, the app layout is good it’s just the problem with the loading
Frustration
Your new app cannot be loaded on my iPhone or iPad. I’ve been a customer for more than 40 years. Now because of your “upgrade,” I’ll have to leave Middlesex, and move my banking to Bank of America. It’s far easier—and less costly—to change banks than to replace an iPhone and iPad. Thank you for many years of fine service.

Check Deposit Almost Unusable
Check deposit feature is extremely difficult to use, aligning camera on check is near impossible as it registers and moves in random direction when moving the phone and check around. For someone that strictly uses online banking almost worth it to move to a new bank altogether.
Battery drain
Seems ever since iOS 18.1 it has some sort of memory leak and is using a lot of battery even when not in use.
Total JUNK
Since the last update this app is complete junk!!! I have always deposited my check through the app. Not anymore since the update I cannot deposit my check. Third time. Same junk. Don’t know what they did but it’s garbage I deleted it it so useless.
Logging Off Since Update
Since the last update I can’t find the menu to log off. I’m hoping just closing the app automatically logs off. Feels very insecure.
Even harder now to navigate
I have so much difficulty accessing the menu since the last update. The app has always been rather clunky, but now the messaging bubble appears right over the menu, and hides access to services that seem impossible through any other method. Paying a loan, essentially moving money from checking to the loan account, is no longer an option without access to the menu, as there is no other way to do it that I can figure out.

Makes me want to switch to a big bank
This app is terrible. Did one unqualified guy work on this by himself? That’s the vibe I’m getting.
Deposit endorsement
App is pretty awful. I only use it to make mobile deposits and it keeps rejecting checks for bit having ‘for mobile deposit only’ endorsement despite it being on the back. After two or three times of trying, I completely give up. It defeats the purpose, and whoever developed this app is not doing their job.

For Mobile Deposit Only
The Deposit Check feature does not work as well as it used to - repeated errors that it can’t find my endorsement, that it’s missing the mobile deposit phrase when it’s there. It should not be this fussy! Sometimes it will work after multiple tries but I’ve also given up and had to drive to the bank. Please improve this!

Poor app
I love the bank but the App is poor. Just keeps denying the photo of the deposit check… I can’t walk very well and to have to go down to the bank is challenging. Does not appear to work with the IPad…it used to.

I would be happy to update this rating once the app is fixed. I have had non luck with this during the past few months. They keep telling me to sign the back and I have done this…. Now I have to keep going out to the bank…
Cannot Deposit remotely
Recently, i have not been able to deposit my paychecks using the app.
The app claims that i have not endorsed the checks, even though the photo clearly shows the endorsment.
I suppose i'll have to go deposit it manually.

New update is annoying
Why does it keep asking for codes and to register device? As someone who checks their banking regularly it’s getting annoying.
Verification codes after registering device
Since the new update it asks every time no matter how many times we check off register device.
How to take a site from excellent to horrid
Dear MSB developers, I wonder if you could explain the reasoning behind the current software change? The site previously was fantastic, with all info at a glance. Hands down, you had the best banking site.
Now you’ve created a look where one must click on various tabs to see all the info one used to see at a single glance - and it isn’t even user friendly. Why anyone would take an excellent site and slash it to a fraction of what it was blows my mind. Please change it back and refer to the adage: “IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT FIX IT”

Where is the fingerprint access? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Very disappointed.
Great bank, broken app
Tried to eDeposit a check. After taking the back photo it would kick me out to the login screen. This happened 5 times in a row. When I finally was able to get the pictures without being kicked out, it said my deposit attempts had been exceeded.
