I’ve been using Milo for almost 6 months now and I feel like I can confidently say that this is the best money managing app I’ve used to date! They’ve gone through a few updates and though one of the first updates did leave me and a few others unhappy due to layout changes/money constraints, it seems like they’re really trying to make this as convenient as possible for everyone! They listen and they act on critical feedback which is such a great addition to the amazing app they’ve made. Using Milo has helped make such a huge difference in my spending habits and I actually feel like I’m at a point now where I can save money without worrying. Definitely recommend this app to anyone looking to build better spending habits or save money!

Hey, this is really helpful feedback. We heard of a lot of similar comments and decided to roll back those premium features so they're free again now. On the layout, we've also made a couple of tweaks. And if Pro didn't do it for you, email us at hello@milobuddy.com and we'll sort it out.

The BEST money tracking app

Words can’t describe how pleased I am with this app. All you do is put in your banking information and bills you expect to come out every month, and it does the rest for you. From building a budget, to giving you realistic savings plans, to telling you how much you have left to spend until payday, this app goes above and beyond. They should really sponsor me I be putting my friends and family on this app all the time.

Financial freedom here I come

Started using Milo a little while ago and it’s been so great for me. I used to rely on my boyfriend, but now I’m able to stay on top of things and know the best way to manage my money. I also love the chill vibe since it makes it really easy to check through the week. Thanks Milo 🩵

Honest Feedback

Update: Apple Card is now supported! Definitely my favorite finance app.

I’ve had this app for about a month now and it’s been great so far. It’s far from perfect, but the creators have always been pretty responsive and have informed me that Apple Card is in the works. I have tried other finance apps, but nothing is this simple. Definitely give this app a shot if you’re interested in setting up your life :)

Another Great App Falls to Paywall

Milo was amazing when it was mostly free before a recent update that basically locks you out of everything unless you upgrade to Pro. Former Pro features made sense to be extra $ but now even basic features have been put behind the paywall. Basically useless now.

Update sucks

Went completely downhill after the recent update. The new layout was, in my opinion, a mess and everything we could do before now required Milo pro. I went ahead and paid for the subscription but saw no difference in the productivity even after. It was a lot better before the new update.

everything’s behind a paywall now

the app was perfect but then this new update came out and now you have to pay a subscription to access any features at all. you literally can’t use anything with the free version (can’t check account balances, deposits, spending categories, previous budget, etc).

latest update sucks!!

This app was great before the latest update. It was awesome being able to view the money I’d spent monthly and compare it to historicals. I was also able to see my entire net worth in a quick number very quickly. This new update has taken all of that away and the worst thing is that the app was unusable if unless it was updated. So awful that the creators of this app did this and I’m definitely upset at the changes. Avoid this app if you are looking for a free budget app.

ridiculous

don’t buy this app, they make you pay for what was once an honorably free service. very disappointed in this choice to prioritize profit when this was supposed to help people save money.

new updates made it worse

previously had spend tracking by month, showing expenses by category. now the amount spent is hidden behind a paywall - you can’t see how much you’ve spent in each category. they also changed it to be modeled on tracking spending until your payday, which doesn’t make any sense.

Another Great App Killed by Greed

I have been using the app for just about 6 months now and with the recent update they took everything away and want you to pay for it now. You used to be able to see all your spending and breakdowns for free. Now they changed it to require the pro version. Very scummy and greedy I’ll be deleting the app now.

The premise of the app started that they wanted to help you save check your spending and all with out paying for extra add ons and that’s how the app started I would give it five stars but now since this new update 2 days ago I now have to pay a subscription for something that was free literally last week. It’s just upsetting I found a great app that had so many advantages for free unlike these other apps that make you pay for every little thing to be more financially responsible has now changed to be one of the same 😔

this app was perfectly fine before this update showed you you’re spending habits on categories showed you how much balance you have left your safe to spend during the week and I’ll all of that is under a paywall now. That’s why we can never have nice things. people are always trying to take money from people. I really hope other companies look at this and just realize that why do you have to pay for everything and why is it a monthly subscription it’s not fair you’re supposed to be proactively trying to change your spending habits, but the only way to change that is by spending more money on an app that’s supposed to help you and this app does not do as much as other apps

Update Changed My Rating

The most recent update put the monthly views for categorized payments behind a paywall which is very disappointing. That was one of my favorite features of the app.
