App constantly crashes
I love Mindful Chef but I hate the app. It crashes constantly and it’s impossible to use. I have to order all my meals on a desktop computer which is not always convenient. I’ve tried updating, uninstalling and reinstalling etc but nothing resolves it and it’s a persistent problem and there is no technical support. Rubbish.

What a difference this makes to my happiness
I started buying these about six months ago after I moved house I was suffering with stress and not eating well I have been shopping for a year at corner shops simply because my downsize was enormous and trying to fit everything into one bedroom flat was pretty tricky. It’s only now about two years later that I’ve almost landed. My kitchen is quite full of stuff, but I’m able to find a frying pan in a saucepan. And this is to cook these meals I find I can bulk it out a bit more make it last for three meals if wanted and the base ingredients are always there. I’ve also learnt to cook new things in new ways which is amazing. GENERAL speaking this is being a total asset to my life. I may even have lost a bit of weight along the way and I certainly eat a bit more healthy generally I sometimes supplement every delivery which comes every two weeks for just one person with a little shop at Sainsbury’s or at Waitrose or from the Internet but really I hardly need anything I’d say the vegetarian dishes are mostly what I call Beuk bulk food but the meat that I’ve had has been amazing and really good quality. I’m tempted to go back to have some meat soon although I’m mostly vegan in my eating style I haven’t tried the fish, but I’ve tried the prawns and everything is marvellous.

App keeps crashing
App crashes on startup. Have deleted and reinstalled, problem persists.

I open the app and it immediately crashes. I’ve tried uninstalling, offloading my data, removing from the cloud, nothing works. There’s no help on the app support page and the online chat doesn’t understand/can’t help

The app won’t even open. I click on it, a white page with a purple circle pops up for literally 1 second and then it closes itself.
I get an offer for mindful chef with my vitality insurance, but can’t use the offer as I can’t get on the app.
Can someone look at it and get it fixed please?

Great but drop the ultra processed food hence one star…
I have used Mindful Chef for several years since Covid first arrived and loved them. With their entry to prepared meals I checked the labels and saw they were using “natural flavourings”. Sadly these are anything but, due to the “meaningless” food labelling standards in the UK; and are mostly compounds made in a lab.
I contacted them and they said “our partners use this”…
If they lose the “natural flavour enhancers” and the other additives then I’d be back like a shot; aside from this they are AMAZING, better than 5* caring for farmers/producers, providing food for kids in poverty, improving the environment, and their customer service is AMAZING and organic.
I want to eat food, not compounds created in a lab.
Please ditch the additives and I’d be back IMMEDIATELY.

Food great app needs work
Hi can you take a look at two things and then I’ll revise my review:
1) your app seems to expire sessions faster than any other app I use - why is this? The consequence is that I need to re-enter my password which I can never remember because I want it to unique.
2) your password reset functionality through the app doesn’t work for me? Through your website it’s fine but when I request a new E-mail from the app it never arrives.
Genuinely a combination of these two problems is driving me to cancel my subscription. Please resolve.

Absolutely fantastic
Tried the other ones but came back to Mindful Chef. I never thought I’d be looking forward to the delivery of the next box so much. Literally transformed the way we eat. Super recipes, super easy instructions. World class meals!

Why would an app be designed to this? It literally defeats the point of having an app.
Problem with app
Love the recipes and food. BUT there is an issue with the app. Every time I go to add Plenish Milks to my order the app fails to loud and I’m unable to purchase them. (This happens on multiple devises so it’s a problem with the app and not my phone) Please can this be fixed because I’d really like to add them to my order in future.

Amazing ingredients
The meat, fish and poultry supplied by mindful chef are incredible (I.e biggest prawns ever that do not shrink when cooked). Very good recipes overall, bit pricier than other options but delivers good quality for it.

We have tried a few food box companies and found mindful chef the most interesting with the best ingredients. We have meals for a family of 4 which I think is for 2 adults and 2 small
Children not 2 teenagers so I always have to add extra to make it go further. The basis recipe is always good so I don’t have to think of something 3 nights a week.

Creative and completely delicious!
Enjoy the creativity of flavours and the ease in which it’s delivered. The whole family is loving the variety and even the teenagers are happy with the selections!
Easy peasy to make and eat.
Wonder why I did not do this years ago which the measured ingredients no more cluttering my fridge with half used ingredients.

Cannot recommend enough. Fabulous app, incredible dishes & smoothies and very fairly priced. I have an autoimmune disease so am prone to inflammation, so this helps me eat healthily and get my fruit and veg in easily.

Excellent so far
Mindful chef has been great so far. I’ve been ordering from them for 3 months now. Any issues with boxes have been sorted quickly and replaced or refunded. I’ve also lost 15lbs, so that’s an added bonus! 😊👏
