Not working
I bought the MindWave mobile 2 from Neurosky and tried to use this app. But this app is not even connecting. Looks like stupid device as another app also working very rarely (only if the internet connection is very high, like more 100mbps). Won’t suggest to buy this device or this app.
Pairing
Place AAA battery in headset, Download app, adjust headset over brow and ear lobe, some locations have a stronger signal
Couldn’t connect to iPhone X
Even after repeated attempts Top connect the mindwave device to iphinex it wasn't successful. Very disappointing for such an expensive device.

Just downloaded this app for my MindWave Neurosky and it doesn’t work!

Doesn't appear to work with iOS 9.2
Even though the Bluetooth device is connected, the application can't find the device. Judging from the lack of reviews, I'm guessing it's not a popular application and thus hasn't been updated in awhile and the newer iOS has implemented new security that's not supported by the application.
I am do glad I bought this headset.
I love the headset. The feedback I get about how well I am focusing and what disturbs my meditation, is worth every penny!
There's got to be more than just this.
Okay, I went to the Neurosky store, and bought the Mindwave Mobile headset. $129 for the Myndplay bundle. While the concept of all this is quite amazing... The apps are all underwhelming. Maybe I was expecting more apps to be included, and that the apps would be -at a minimum- interesting... But so far it's been a real disappointment. They all seem to be alterations of the same thing. It's either measuring concentration or meditation... And even then I'm not sure if its accurate. Please, please, please... Make this interesting.

Not bad hardware, but...
The basic free app for this thing ought to at least come with a simple strip chart recorder or something. This app is barely even useful for hardware diagnostic purposes.
