Easy to use and effective
I’ve been using this app for several months now. It is incredibly easy to use, accurate and saves me so much time preparing minutes and summaries of meetings. The customer service has been excellent for when I needed clarification. I recommend this app to both professional administrators and volunteers.

Not so good anymore..
I’ve used Minutes for 2 years+. This will likely be my final year. The desktop version was updated but it’s also not that great. The quality has really changed. There are recordings I KNOW I recorded and processed that are gone. Not in the new storage feature either. Whatever update they recently did really ruined the quality. Sad to say after all this time.

Don’t use this for important meetings
For some reason this app chooses when it wants to work. I have had several meetings where the recordings and transcripts have failed to save and I would not suggest this for professional use.

Great App. I use it a lot instead of writing my notes. That way I can go back and check.
Regressed in Quality
It used to give me beautiful pages of minutes for 2.5 hour meetings. Now it’s condensed into 1.5 pages that’s missing a ton of key details. They pushed an update at some point that made everything worse. Also, you have to record longer meetings on voice memos, then import it (often times using a secondary app to compress the file) because if the app closes or your phone locks during the meeting, it loses everything.

Don’t waste your money!
This app sucks! Overrated does not perform as advertised period. Transcription very poor! DO. Or recommend.
BEEARE Recoded Meeting Dropped, NO MINUTES -better have a backup plan
Recorded meeting using this app on my iPad. Went to transcribe and it does endless circles saying it is 100% complete. Circles don’t stop. Finally have to X out and recording disappears. Have used probably 6 times to record meetings. Twice the app has failed me. False security not worth paying for.

I recorded a long meeting from my watch, and it never came over to the app. I chose “find lost recording” and downloaded the file, and it won’t play. Don’t waste your time

I had tried it, hoping to get reminded that my seven day trial would be charged as other applications do.
Unfortunately, it did not and I missed it. This is my fault for not making a note to check, but now I own it for a year and no chance of a refund.

Maybe this is a mistake but…
I was just asking for a free trial and then 3.99 just went out my pocket right after. I don’t know if that was on the fine-print, but still, I thought a free trial was a FREE trial. But other than that, the app is nice overall. R.I.P my 3.99 tho
Functionality
The app is good but there are times we are jumping off to so many other assignments. We can forget to save the recording then the app do not auto-save or put the recordings into an archive for an option to transcribe and summarize meeting. I’ve lost so many recordings like this…. If it’s on pause for too long or if the app stays on my iPad background. This glitch should be updated

Does not work
Recording two meetings, after both the app said Audio Processing Unsuccessful but noted that the recordings had been saved however, they were not. Disappointing.

The claims to record in the background, however if you paused that app and go onto another app, it would delete your recording.

I was charged for my “free” trail. It’s garbage.

Would love to read notes while also recording to help answer questions during meetings about previous meetings.
Can’t cancel App
This is a great app as long as you never want to cancel! There is an option in the app to cancel, but it won’t let you cancel. It will say “no subscription” and then it will just reappear! I tried to reach out to the developer and they won’t assist.
Obsessed
This has saved my life with work meetings, and now I’m going to use it for college lectures, I hope it makes college easier 😭
Beware
Tried the 7 day free trial. Used it once for a meeting and the app was ok and easy to use. Went camping and attempted to cancel before the trial ended. But due to my location I did not have good signal and the Apps app kept spinning.
I was a day late on the 7 day trial and cancelled right away. Explained I was outside service and still no refund. I guess just make sure if you’re going to cancel do it right away.
