That behavior is by design, not a bug. Your iPhone powers the stream to Apple TV, so it must stay awake with Mira open while casting. We state this clearly in the App Store description, on our website, in our documentation, and in every posting about the feature, so there are no surprises. Best Video Player Available

I’ve used YouTube or other equivalent apps, but Mira is definitely the best option you can find! I love the ads free experience, especially the in-video sponsored adds. AI transcripts are also very useful! If you watch YouTube a lot, this app is a must have!

What an awesome app

This app does what the native YouTube app fails to do. Bring back dislike count and remove sponsor segments. Just for that I would give this app 5 stars.

Almost amazing

I’ve had Mira for not too long, but I think it’s safe to say it’s perfect. ALMOST perfect. The only annoyances for me (at least on mobile YouTube since that’s what I came here for) are that videos don’t go into fullscreen when rotating your phone and there aren’t skip forward/back buttons along with the video title in full screen. These are minor things but I want them so bad. Otherwise, so far everything else is good
