Worst app ever
Can’t find anything near me even with precise location turned on. Found stuff 1000 to 2000 miles away.
Terrible since update
I’ve used this app for years and had no complaints until the update earlier this year. Previously it was relatively easy to select the closest parking zone to your current area and scroll to find your spot. However, now it always just says “too many zones to list” so I end up typing the spot number manually. This would not be so frustrating if typing in the number automatically displayed the correct spot, but instead this is clearly a Milwaukee-focused wrapper for a larger parking app, as other parking spots with the same number in other, far away cities will often display BEFORE the actual parking spot in Milwaukee. 2FA will not work if you already use ParkMobile
I already have ParkMobile installed as I’m a Metra user that park in the suburbs of Chicago. The MKE Park app is essentially a Milwaukee flavored wrapper for the ParkMobile app. The two factor authentication by email verification makes it impossible to log into MKE if you already have the ParkMobile app installed, because the link will open PM instead of MKE. Of course, there’s no problem using the ParkMobile app to park in Milwaukee but it isn’t obvious for visitors who were not exposed to the city’s ad campaign and there are almost NO signs for the app except a little sticker on the meters which is difficult to see at night. [update] There is a workaround to opening the 2FA link in MKE by long-pressing the link and opening the link in Safari. The web link will then ask to open MKE instead of PM. MKE will inherit strings from PM and also give you access to Milwaukee specific links in the app like the overnight registration and HOP info.

App broken?
In January 2026, I attempted to use the app to park in Milwaukee. For some reason, the app was unresponsive when I tried to enter and save my license plate, phone number and preferred method of payment. I used the app several years earlier with no problem, but now it seems to be broken.
Non-Functioning
The app looks nice, but it won’t accept my credit card number, so I can’t use it.
Absolute useless garbage
Wont let you do anything without a. One number but there is NO ZONE NUMBER IN THE METER. Completely inaccurate location spotting means that it does t think I’m parked where I am and won’t give my meter number as an option. Won’t let you JUST ENTER THE NUMBER IF TGE METER I PARKED AT. Absolute trash.

Lacks basic functionality
The app should allow the user to key in the number printer on the (Milwaukee) parking meter. Having to invoke a map and click/scroll around makes a simple task unnecessarily complex.
Totally unreliable login
I am sitting here missing my meeting apparently waiting for another login email. Why can’t I just make a password? Get real 2FA, if I get a parking ticket I will be mailing it to you all.

by the time I deplaned walked the longer distance to my level 4 parking spot, and drove out to what appears to be the only Smart Park exit lane, my app logged out. This was the major hassle and why it did it no one knowledgeable has explained it, so far.
So, no logged on NO barcode to pay and exit at the garage exit lanes. So I had to make a phone call at midnight, and go through all the semantics of identifying myself and my vehicle. The whole process took me about 15 minutes. I think next time I will just use a traditional credit card for payment. You can gladly have the smart app! It’s not for me.

Dead as a doornail. :(
This app made it possible to park in mke, since all the meters around UWM have worn out card readers. Except that someone stole my phone so now I’m back to using my iPhone 6. Every app works on it but this one, that won’t even allow a previous version to install, when I had one on this phone that worked fine not long ago. So I‘m supposed to buy a new thousand dollar phone just to park? Guess I’ll ride my bike from the free Park-n-Ride or something. Disappointing.

Polluting my Dynamic Island
Even if I don’t have an active parking spot, your app continues to show in the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen. This needs to be fixed. I will be deleting the app until it is.
Be prepared to randomly need to reenter information
I might need to start carrying coins again since the app has become such a hassle
No cellular support
I installed and noticed app was not in Cellular permission of Settings. Abe in support said I need to reset all passwords and network settings!?!? No way. I will use credit card instead.
Maps are wrong!
This app claims to know where you parked based off the Space #. Do not trust it!
Technical Issues
When creating my account, no matter how many different passwords I created within the guidelines of the password, an error message pops up to say it does not meet the requirements. Very frustrating and I have no idea what to do. There is no way to get around it.
CAREFUL - Information is shared
Information that I placed in the app is ended up in the dark web per Experian. Do not trust this app.
App breaks often
I’m always standing at a meter when Mke Park decides my password isn’t right, though every time, it is right. So then I have to find quarters. E ceding my annoying. When it works, it’s a real handy app. But I’m taking time to review while waiting for the app to download, to reinstall, again.
Worst App
No scanning sticker present. We tried parking on Wisconsin and NONE of the zones contained the parking spot number. Can’t search by spot number and there was no way to find the zone. Who is responsible for this crappy app??
Privacy Nightmare and Terrible Service Model
Unbelievably invasive. License Plate, e-mail , personal data, payment methods, and now Data leak!
Tragically, the only other option is to not pay and get towed. There are no alternatives.
