CFX525 owner. Unit less than a year old, display stuck on QR code boot screen, compressor start failure. App is useless for diagnostics when the unit won’t boot past the QR code screen. Dometic support refused to help without original receipt despite serial number confirming unit age. $600+ premium product, zero warranty support. One sta

Updates are broken

The firmware update process is fundamentally broken for my CFX5:

1. Select update, provide email (why do you need this?)
2. Open email, tap verify OTP.
3. Back to app, error modal appears (email not verified).
4. Try again, “email already used”.
5. Try a different email, same failure (email not verified).

I have the latest version of the app. It’s been this way since last year, and there is nothing special about my setup.

Bricked my cfx 95

The last update destroyed my fridge. The large side works as a freezer now even at 50F and the small one doesn’t work properly. Everything was fine before. No, the update didn’t failed. It’s just a bad update. I wish I can manually reflash it. Lost a lot of my food camping.
This is ridiculous.

Garbage

No matter what I do my cooler won’t connect via WiFi. App is current but won’t connect. Useless.

Awful App

I can’t connect my fridge to the app. Even the help options don’t even list the latest model that I bought. The customer service is an automated cycle of nothing. I’m really surprised at how lame this is, clearly you’re getting the feedback and doing nothing about it! If you haven’t made a purchase yet, I would avoid
