Same issue with another user, after you receive a grant (for people who currently have lost their housing, and everything to their name) Guess what Mocafi wants you to do? Provide a current phone bill forgetting that you can’t provide a phone bill when you have what people sometimes call “Obama phones”. You also cannot set up your pin at the time that you activate your card, it says that it will call you back…and it will call you back on a phone number that is no longer valid. If you get your card on a weekend, you have to wait until Monday to get it taken care of. The weekend agents are not able to do this regardless of you providing all of the identifiers and also seeing that you provided this information via email. So answer me this Mocafi, how in the heck is anyone supposed to provide a current utility bill or lease in their name without an address if they are homeless? If these cities partner back with a reputable bank such as BoA, Chase, etc. this wouldn’t be an issue. You should able to set up your pin after providing your identifiers on the same automated call and this is why I wish entities will just stick with actual banks that as they are open daily and whose name has withstood the rest of time, and not use banks that have been involved with corruption of their own banking clients (Wells Fargo) instead of using a start-up company that misses the mark. Negative Stars because money is stuck on the card rendering it useless and clients are on your time, not on time that works for them once the card is received, and to be able to a least get in contact with the “banking institution” on the weekends even if it’s limited hours. Shameful.

Needs work
The app won’t let me sign in and I’ve reset my password 3 times and it says can’t authenticate or authentication failed. SMH y’all need to update the app ASAP, it’s buggy.
Withholding funds
I was approved for direct cash assistance through my city’s pandemic relief funds. It was to be distributed through mocafi. After several attempts through email and phone calls, mocafi has still not allowed me access to the funds. It is pathetic and insane.
