Used to be Good

For many years, this app was my go to for making NFL mock drafts. It would update the real order, had real players, and had trade options.
Apparently, the developers are no longer updating this app, as the 2026 class and draft order are not available, it’s just taking up space on my phone. I’m going to give it another month or so to see if they ever update it, but I’d bet the app is just dead because they used to have everything available set up early in the season (I’m writing this week 18 of the NFL season).
So yea, don’t waste your time at this point.

Love this app

I was in the process of writing a review yesterday that I forgot to submit. I was going to suggest player updates and I forgot to hit submit. However, today the issue is fixed. They do a pretty good job at keeping updated information.

Good app needs 1 big improvement

I think the biggest improvement is adjusting the teams every week of the season. Like on Tuesday you can update the order according to the results from the previous week. It’s a very simple fix to make the app perfect.

DFW, thanks for writing! It's funny, you actually described the process I do every week - updating the draft order and player rankings on Tuesdays! I don't do the draft order by the standings—instead I use a composite of Vegas Super Bowl odds, which I think better reflects how the draft order will actually look. At a certain point (usually around week 10) I switch to just going with standings. But yes, every Tuesday, the draft order is updated! Thanks for using the app, and glad you like it!

Why Login?

I wanted to mock draft, not create an account. No thanks. Plenty of other tools to use online rather than add one more password into my arsenal.

Great app, best of its kind

If you love making mock drafts this is easily your app. There are obviously a few little things that are frustrating but overall very happy with this app and the quick responses from the developers to fix problems. Highly recommend it to anyone interested in apps of this type.

Amazing… with slight improvements needed!

I love this app. Wether i’m pooping or i’m procrastinating I’m able to do quick and easy mocks! The trade system is awesome as well and recently they updated the rankings and removed players that did not declare! They are still missing key players who may go rounds 1-3 such as CB Marcus Jones and EDGE/DT Logan Hall. I also think their should be a “team needs” section to aid the picks for each team, as well as a tab to show what players were already selected for the team. When doing 2 round mocks, it’s slightly frustrating having to back out of the selection screen, scroll to the top, click round 1 and scroll to the team to see who i picked. Small quality of life improvements that can go a long way to make this app perfect. Still at face value, this app is such an amazing tool and I can’t recommend it enough for mobile devices!

Not able to join

I have the app. Have an invite to join someone “challenge” anytime I click the link to join their thing it just takes me to the App Store to download the app again. Even after downloading it.

Shuts down on me

I love the layout of the app and the board has improved, but it’s shut down randomly on me twice tonight both in the middle of me making a 2 round mock. I lost all my progress both times and had to start over.

Welcome back! We had some bugs pop up along with the big update we pushed out, including the issue where the mock builder will crash if too many picks are made without saving your progress. It should be working better now. If not, you can always reach out to support@mockout.com, and tell us what's going on - we'll get right to fixing whatever needs fixing. But give it another shot, and if it still acts up a bit try saving your progress more frequently (that's what helped before we got our fix in) and most importantly, get your mocks in before 8pm! Draft day is here!!!

It logs out for no reason

I just tried to make a mock draft today, and it literally just logs me out of the mock in like two minutes every time. And since it doesn’t automatically save, I lose all of my progress. This really needs to be fixed. It’s a shame because I really like this app.

Excellent

This app is just such an excellent idea. Never experienced any bugs with it, and the most recent update to the app just took everything to the next level. I love joining leagues with friends and the unlimited amount of mocks I can make. Makes it very much like March Madness for me, except it’s for the draft. If your as into the draft as I am, you need look no further than MockOut.

Look for alternatives

This app does allow you to create a mock draft but it’s constantly shuts down with out saving progress, updates the order extremely late, also moves players like crazy in their rankings

Ehh

I mean I can’t complain. I looked up a mock draft app and I got one. I just need an updated list. What I really want is to not see Micheal Penix on the bottom. I want him removed. And all of the other players that changed their mind. Just lookup a list on peoples seven round mock draft and get ideas.

Sometimes it's tough to stay on top of all the player movement and decisions, but we try our best to stay up to date. We've been working on a new release which will hopefully go live soon, which will include a big player update... but until then, Penix is removed. Thanks again!
