Needs Lots of Work!
I cannot recommend the Mod Lighting app based on my experience.
The app is not intuitive and is difficult to navigate. Settings pages frequently overlap each other, and become unresponsive, forcing me to restart the app. The way the app functions changes based on how the winds blows. The only way to control multiple devices at once is via a Group but the app does not let you create a group and select the associated devices, it only shows certain devices based on no criteria. Making it impossible to create groups with certain devices. The app however encourages you to create Rooms that provide no benefit.
What was most frustrating was the amount of time spent troubleshooting. It took four weeks and three separate support incidents to discover that some of the features advertised by Mod are not actually available for my device/setup. This was never made clear upfront and caused a significant amount of wasted time.
Another major issue is the setup process. The device must be paired before installing the light, yet this critical requirement is not clearly stated in the instructions. Had this been documented properly, it would have saved hours of frustration and unnecessary support calls.
Overall, between the poor user experience, frequent app issues, unclear setup requirements, and misleading feature expectations, this has been one of the more frustrating smart lighting products I’ve worked with. I hope Mod improves both the app stability and the accuracy of its documentation.

Hard to pair and make it work
I love my lights but it is so complicated to make them work properly with the app
We have paired them several times, not only is very complicated but it lasted only twice before everything was erased and we have to pair them over again and it takes forever as you have to do it one by one
