Really nice looking app that I was able to figure out in a few few clicks. Really like seeing the net income tab.
Great for understanding your monthly expenses!
Modest makes it super easy to see how you’re spending every month, so you can have a clear sense of your budget and identify places to cut back if needed. It was really helpful when trying to figure out how much we could afford when buying a house, so that we could look at our past spending data to make sure we had room in the budget.

I love how the app goes beyond just tracking/budgeting to actually show ways to save and course-correct with my finances. The visuals are super clear and make it easy to understand the bigger picture of where my money is going and what to do about it!!

Beautiful app with great AI classifications. More simple than other budgeting apps, focuses on recurring vs one-time expenses and projects how much you’ll be able to spend in retirement. It covers everything I care about

Just came over from
Monarch. I’m excited about all the pace in the industry but I gotta say the basics still just don’t work for me. setting and resetting my budget is a chore. Origin also just seems to ignore basic budgeting. Modest is the ONLY app that helped me figure out what I save, and organized my recurring expenses and flexible spending instantly the way I wanted. I honestly hadn’t thought a lot about financial independence but now my partner and I are obsessed with tracking ours… hope the pace continues!
