Nice, but…
On a 2022 iPhone SE running iOS 18 pressing the presets button freezes the app completely.
Very nice, with one wish
Pretty nice metronome. Works flawlessly. It among the very few metronome where taping the tempo is precise. Other apps vary way to much on that respect.

It is simple and easy to use, but there is one problem.
It seems that the beats are not restored correctly to the preset.
For example, I saved it in 4/3, but when I play it back, it is in 4/4.
This is true for both 2 and 5 beats.
It would be great if you could fix this.

4.0.1 = Failure to Launch
After years of happily using Beat Keeper a.k.a. Modus on both my Macbook Pro and my iPhone SE, the update to Version 4.0.1 on my Macbook has rendered the app useless with a launch error.
The App Store listing for Modus confirms that it is compatible with my laptop (Big Sur OS, fully updated). I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I've tried following Apple's recommendation to contact the developer for advice but the forScore website provides no search hits in its support database for Modus and no contact form for individual help (unless I subscribe to forScore Pro when I don't even own or use that application).
Modus still runs on my iPhone, at least, but forScore's left me with a less than stellar impression of its self-serve support system.

Presets don’t work.
In addition, if they did work, it would be great to be able to see all the presets on one screen. I once had an Android app that allowed me to have all the classic metronome marks (40, 42, 44…200, 208) all on one screen and I merely had to touch each one to change the tempo without it going to another screen after that. Super convenient for changing tempo while practicing. This app is not at all ready for sale. I would like my money back or, better yet, have it work properly as advertised. I searched for a metronome app with presets.

Great but presets don’t work
I like everything about this app except that the presets I save don’t load so I still have to manually change the tempo. Hoping an update will resolve this.

Seit ein paar Tagen können die gespeicherten Voreinstellungen nicht mehr aufgerufen werden. Abspeichern geht nach wie vor, aber wähle ich eine gespeicherte Voreinstellung aus, wird diese nicht übernommen. Bitte überprüfen sie die App. Die App ist wirklich sehr gut.

Almost the perfect metronome
This is a small app with powerful features that are easy to use. Use a dial, buttons, tap, or type in your desired tempo and beats. Has a visual and audible indicator (or both at same time). Best feature is being able to store presets and instantly recall them. FANTASTIC for sets of music and quickly setting tempo for next song.
The one thing I wish for this app is the ability to re-order or edit presets. If I create them in order but need to change one, all I can do is delete or create a new preset at the end of the list.... so then I delete all of them and start again to get them in order. Add that and it’s 5 stars for sure!!!! Thanks for a great app!

Great UI, needs a higher max BPM
Love the minimal UI.
It gets the job done and looks great while doing it. I just wish that the max BPM was higher than 208.
