i've been waiting for the past year for the app developer to explain how can i retrieve all my information from the moleskine journey old version!!!!!
Would not open.
Maybe eventually it would, but 5 min is long enough to wait for a simple journalling app to open. dumped it.

I am so disappointed on the moleskine journey life planner team!
It has been 1 YEAR since the new "journal" update launched and 1 YEAR of me unable to access all my information that took me 5 years to create and enter in Journey Life Planner app.
I have been trying to retrieve my information for the past 1 YEAR and haven't been able to, there is clear response from your team regarding when I am going to be able to access all my information, I have been paying the premium version of this app since Summer 2020 and it's unacceptable and insane that now all my information cant be seen nor access on my endx
This has been driving me insane because all my routines, finances, home expenses, expense reports, future goals, schedules, calendar, etc etc etg everything was entered in this app, and now i cant believe I am not getting any answers from the developer, nor information on future updates.
All I get is 10% loading for hours, days and weeks, and nothing loads on the "Your Data from Journey" portion, it just doesnt work.
I truly need help from someone or if there is an online database where I can just access all my information and download it to use in other apps that are more reliable.
Please, please, please let me know at your earliest convenience, I would like to use all this information to reorganize myself for the upcoming year, I have been I have lost so much important information entered in your app and the least you can do for a customer that has been loyal for 5 years, is give me my information back or allow me to retrieve it.

Lost all my journal activity
I’ve been using and paying since 2022. Just opened the app for the first time in a few months and everything is gone. Great. The catharsis of writing about my dog passing away is lost. Thanks Molskine, I won’t be renewing
Pls make entry list view
I like the app my only thing is like others have mentioned, you can’t easily see a list of previous entries anywhere, and an indicator on the month view would really help too. This should be a basic feature and this is why other apps are better. I love the simplicity and modern feel of other Moleskine apps like Timepage and Actions which I pay for and use, but this one lacks that simplicity and therefore modern feel also. Please give us some more features. I feel like this all-in-one feel is great and there aren’t many apps like this one, but the old version i have to say I loved more because past entries were easily accessible in a timeline on each journal/note/ etc. Give us something like this! Would love an upgrade to a more modern feel as well because this app can be so much more beautiful like other Moleskine apps and useful. Agree that the old version was better, it was my go-to app and this is sorry to say, like a down grade in ways. Give us something better than the previous and current version and I’ll keep paying and appreciating.

WORST APP EVER
I spent hours customising this to be perfect for me and the app has deleted all of my past entries and my future activities I’ve set !!!! Sooooo annoying I want my money back

Someone ruined the app
This used to be my go to app for taking notes. Now it’s incredibly difficult to use. I spent so much time learning how to used the previous version. Poor decision.

WORST EXPERIENCE!!!!!
I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE APP UPDATE THAT ALLOWS ME TO DOWNLOAD MY INFORMATION FROM JOURNEY LIFE PLANNER. ALL MY INFORMATION IS GONE WHICH TOOK ME 5 YEARS TO CREATE AND ORGANIZE IN THE APP, AND ALL GONE NOW THAT SOMEONE HAD THE BRILLIANT IDEA TO UPDATE AN APPP TO SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT INSTEAD OF CREATING A NEW APP!!! TOO MUCH DAMAGE HAS BEEN CAUSE TO THE USER, NO REPLIES FROM THE DEVELOPER FOR 6 MONTHS, I HAVE SENT EMAILS, APP REVIEWS AND NOTHING! I am truly SICK AND TIRED of emailing for the same reason but I need someone to tell me what is happening with my information!!! will I be able to recover all my information??? You keep telling me to wait and wait and wait and wait for updates or for someone to get back to me and NOTHING!!! It's 5 years and tons of hours spent putting tons of information together, routines, projects, future plans, monthly goals, daily goals, etc etc etc and noone can tell me what is going on; I am also requesting my money back for all the damage caused!!!!!

Very poor re-design strategy
I was really happy with the app until the recent changes. Change itself isn’t bad, but the way this was handled felt like a letdown… no announcement, no notifications and no option to return to the previous version. As a paying user, this came across as very disappointing and even disrespectful.
All my lists are now gone and I can’t find a way to recover them. From what I see here, I’m not alone as many other users are having the same issue. The fact that nothing has been done to help us speaks volumes about the management.
It’s sad to say, but I think it’s time for us to move on and look for a brand that actually values and supports its customers.

Seriously? I’ve been a premium user of Moleskine Journey for several years. Tonight I found it replaced by an entirely different app. Not even an updated planner app. A journal app. I want my money back.
Ruined a great app, bring back Journey!
They took a great app, journey, and completely ruined it by turning it into another run of the mill journaling app. The beauty of journey was that it combined journals, lists, todos in a way that you could manage to mirror your life. Not any more. No way to export my old data except to a worthless pdf. And then the gall to send me a welcome email asking for feedback and comments from a “no reply” address. Clueless developers. They keep telling us that they’re “aware of our concerns” but they obviously don’t because if they did they’d bring back journeys. Never got a refund for buying a year if an app that was immediately switched for a piece of junk.

This app is garbage
This app is garbage compared to Journey. Why Moleskin wanted to stab its subscribers in the back is a true mystery. What a way to destroy any goodwill for your brand.
Impressed
I have just restarted after a break away from the previous Moleskine Journey. I like the look and simplicity of both the Journal and Planner when used together. I also like the fact that it centralises functionality in one place from both the iOS and Microsoft tools that I use.
The more I explore, the more I like them, but some clearer user guides would help.
I do view it as a work in progress by the developers and would like to see multiple journal entries for a day, voice dictation and search.

Journey was really special and now it’s gone
After the breakup with Bonobo, this app transformed from Journey to Journal. It’s so dissimilar that I would consider this an entirely different app with some overlapping features. Journey offered significantly more customization with an elegant UI. Journal and Planner are still elegant, but I think they’re overloaded with graphics, a bit clunky, and the font is enormous. So much wasted space. I really loved Journey. I used it every day for years. Journal is just not even close.

INFORMATION LOSS
I have been trying to retrieve all my projects, to do list, routines, etc that was saved in the journey life planner version, I have contacted customer service email over 10 times and no answer, no help, nothing, for the past 3 months since the app was updated and i have not received a response regarding all my information saved in the app for the past 5 years, this update has been such a nightmare for users and yet the developer still doesn't realize the damage done.

BRING BACK JOURNEY
Journey was the perfect note taking app, easy to navigate, straight forward, no frills. that’s what i wanted, that’s what i paid for. Now that i updated it it’s just a journal app that won’t let me access my old account or notes! Currently shopping for other note taking/ task planner apps.
