Great budgeting app

Game Changer
This is an absolute life saving application. If you can’t link certain accounts, I will say, support makes it seem pretty hopeless that they’ll ever get updated. Other than that, it’s great.
Am I crazy? Buggy app and mobile experience
I feel crazy that no one else seems to be having this problem. Logging in and attempting to change account preferences are very difficult on mobile. Frequently met with blank, white pages or never-ending auth redirect flows.
It’s also a shame it can’t attempt to pull in full historical data. I’ve waited a week, hoping it would go out and fetch previous years of investment data. Making the switch is a much tougher sell without that.

Supportive development team which care about the customers
A couple of weeks ago, a new feature change caused some confusion with how I track my monthly spending. I reached out to the developers to ask what was happening, and they responded the very next day!
Once they identified the issue, they were able to fix it quickly in the next release. I really appreciate their responsiveness and how quickly they addressed the problem. I’m so happy that I can continue using this app with minimal interruption. Great support and a great app!

Truly amazing
I’ve had this app for a few days and except for the fact that I cannot get MetLife or Sunwest Mortgage to connect to it, everything else did connect and the information it provides is astounding. If I can get those last two items to connect, I’ll be batting 1000.
A request
I love the app and have used it over the last few months to effectively manage my finances across investments and my personal accounts. I do have a feature request though, which is to add smoothing to the net worth and all other graphs. What I mean is being able to select a duration over which to average the amount, so as to account for pending transactions and slight fluctuations, which make the graphing look a lot more jagged. Thank you to the developers for this great app and alternative to previous money tracking apps like Mint!

Useful tool, very happy with it
This is a wonderful tool for personal and family financial planning and budgeting. It is so helpful to have nearly everything in one place. I highly recommend it. I like that it’s paid so there aren’t advertisements
Support won’t help with log in bug
I am having two bugs. One where the website crashes when I try to link an account. I successfully give permissions in plaid but monarch doesn’t recognize it. The other is I am unable to Sign in with Apple on my iPhone even though it works on my Mac. I sent a message to support but they never responded to my follow up and the AI assistant is unhelpful and won’t submit a follow up ticket.

This app is the best personal finance app that I’ve found! I highly recommend it
Very user friendly!
Easy to open up, quickly mark budget categories as transactions come in. Also, makes it simple to see how your budget is working.

App is very buggy. Couldn’t even make it through the making the account process with out the app freezing & not going forward
Definitely worth it.

Loving Monarch!
I’ve used budgeting programs in the past but found them all lacking in features I wished they had. Simple things like adding a text note to an unusual transaction so that I could understand what it was for at some future date. Or being able to create any category I want so things don’t just fall into the ‘Shopping’ category. I’m able to fine tune things by having casual meals categorized as either ‘Restaurants & Bars’, or ‘Fast Food & Take-out’ or ‘Coffee Shops & Convenience Stores’. This allows me to see how my daily expenses are actually distributed among these areas so I know better where I could tighten up these potential money wasting activities. And the AI assistant is great. I have not yet seen a single shortcoming. Well done!!

App freezes up
The app no longer works for more than a minute and completely freezes up. I wish they would fix it, been happening the last month or so after years of being a useful tool.
Hypocrisy
This financial app that is intended to help you monitor your expenses provides no reminder of a renewing membership fee. What a joke.
