Stupid system
Posted way too late to arrive on time
Late arrival
I have sent 2 birthday cards in the last 2 weeks and paid for priority shipping on both. Both cards have not arrived within the expected timeframe.It is ridiculous that you can no longer rely on a Moonpig card arriving when expected. It is an expensive service that goes unfulfilled. The one that was supposed to have arrived In Portland earliest today, has been sitting in St Paul, Mn for no reason for almost 2 days now.
The last one which was supposed to have been delivered in California on July 7 arrived 3 days later.

Second time this has happened with anniversary gift, not a reliable company for special occasions, will use once more to use refund credit as you can’t get a straight refund, then I’m done with Moonpig

Great app to use for the personal touch!
Moonpig have ironed out much of the little issues that it used to have, things like making sure you personalise everything that is possible, not leaving an already filled in box with a generic name etc, I’ve done that a few times in the past, especially when you are using your phone and everything is quite small and a tad difficult to see! Apologies are difficult after the event 😅
The only thing I would suggest to the app designers is the email that you get to say it’s been delivered! It always calls you by the receipts name instead of your name 🤔
Otherwise everything else is just perfect.

Postage
Too expensive on each card order. Ordered multiple cards same day to one same address and I was charged postage on each card because they were all posted separately?!

I’ve been using Moonpig for 8 years now and I’m really happy with the service.
2 cards boo & Lor 30th
It took me a long time to add the photos and I had to keep going back to my order , I thought that Moonpig would have had special deal on, depending on how many orders, Thoughtful was doing deals on 4 cards but it was the finding the photos in my album that stopped me from buying them.
Delivery dates to early
You are asked for a preferred delivery date. You pick the date only to get a delivery notification 6 days before the date that I picked. Whats the point in offering? Order 26189VLTH73. Ordered on the 8th July. Delivery picked was the 17th July. Delivered on the 11th July. This is very consistent. Very poor. Using funky pigeon from now on.
Also so expensive. A large card on the above order was £11.98 and delivery was a staggering £7.98. Totalling £19.96 for one card. That turned up 6 days early. That’s pure greed with no consideration for your customers delivery dates.

Melted chocolate’s
My friend sent me chocolates for my birthday and they all arrived a complete mess. If you can’t manage the delivery process, then don’t sell the chocolates.
