Great Idea, Great Content, but.,,
We spend so much of our lives pretending we are immortal. The problem with that is that we don’t pay attention to the good moments, and often let them slip away. I wish I’d had something like then when I was young… I would have lived my life quite differently.
I’d have given it 5 stars if not for the fact that, sadly, the developers apparently abandoned the app a couple of years ago, and it has bugs that make it hard to use.

So beautiful I really loved each and every meditation. All of them were calming and thought provoking and it really helped me to shift my perception of death and be more grateful to simply be alive and to have the opportunity to experience this life :)

What a beautiful app! Damn, I’m a ux designer, and I want to make stuff like this 😂 so simple and clean!! Oh and life changing profundity yada yada *bug note, sometimes two audio tracks will both play at the same time and I can’t stop them

Love the app - fascinating - but the meditations seem to play on loop automatically and when I start playing g the next one the previous one keeps playing so there are two playing at once!

This app is the one thing that has brought a sense of comfort and perspective to my grief. Having recently experienced my Fathers transition, I felt deeply ungrounded and heart broken. Mortal was like the soothing balm I needed. The whole experience met me exactly where I was at. It gave me a deep sense of belonging to the wonder of life. Personally, this created a massive shift in my perspective about how precious life is—not just mine and my loved ones, but all life in the planet. We may even find more clarity in ways to navigate our problems, find our purpose, and find the deeper meaning of our lives. Much grateful for this.

Meaningful
As someone who is closer to the end of life than the beginning, I found this app to be an easy, non threatening way to slip into the contemplation of my own death while also remembering to be grateful for and present in my life. It seems to provide a sense of relief and freedom to think about “the elephant in the room”. I highly recommend it to everyone as a way to gain insight into this powerful subject.
