The routers should be obsolete!

They need to get rid of the router the connection from the phone to the obd for the truck should not have a junk processor attached.

June 2026, after all the reviews and complaints over the years, Canadian split sleeperberth is still not working/available.

Fix ur problem

After updating the software on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, I’ve been experiencing problems. It’s not as easy to use as before, and there are a lot of unnecessary apps.
Some iPhone 17 Pro Max users have also reported issues after software updates, including lag, connectivity problems, app glitches, and other performance-related complaints. Many of these issues are often addressed in later iOS updates.

Constant Connection Issues

I can’t believe this is even allowed by DOT. It’s horrible and is constantly having issues connecting. Seems like a test run in a BETA version.

Go into an office or truck stop, it may or may not reconnect. When it does the little reset button doesn’t do anything. Gotta unplug wait until the damn battery dies and try again.

I miss our old Omnitracs. They were far more reliable and stable. I haven’t used customer support as I don’t have time in my run to deal with that. And who wants to waste their off time troubleshooting a junky gadget.

I can’t believe a large company like FedEx would mandate this POS.

Creepy and ineffective

I’m constantly doing very dangerous stuff while driving an equipped vehicle and only get alerts over nonsense. It’s basically another data collection tool that watches you all day and the creeps in charge of monitoring it watch you for the own weird pleasure. Then decide if and when to mess with your employment. It’s a gross joke

When connected to the device via Bluetooth, there is significant interference to any and all other devices connected to the phone.

Not working, again!

Stops working at Rodgers Pass bc. Kicks my truck number out. Now it’s completely frozen and won’t reboot

One minute it’s fine on my iPhone. The next time around it lags like an utter B. Garbage

Only issue I have is the way it connects
Obviously I want the lights facing me but so is the cable that powers the unit. It’s well made and works great but who ever designed it clearly isn’t a driver or cares about aesthetics

Intermittent connection

Latest “update” makes the app intermittently connect to vehicle gateway. As of this review I am unable to connect with two different devices.

Completely inadequate for teams, not ready for release

So this was forced on us in a company switch.
EVERY other ELD ties load and trip information to the TRUCK, so that when one driver changes trailers, the ELD includes them on the other driver's log. But NOT this bunch. Every time my wife takes over, I have to type out the (up to 9, since we're talking about pulling doubles and I do some shuttle work as she sleeps) trailer and load info, and text it to her so she can type in what EVERY OTHER ELD does in the background. So handy in addition to morning ablution and grabbing a breakfast to spend 10 minutes in stupid work.
Oh, and it wants to carry ALL of yesterday's trailers or none of them. Wouldn't JUST THE LAST SET be a good option, since we've dropped the others?
Oh, and yesterday, she went to 16 minutes left, and this crapp (notice the portmanteau) never made a goddamn sound. Every other ELD I've experienced gives a warning at 59, 29, and 19. But this app is kind enough not to distract you while you're busy driving. I'm not sure it would have done a doggone thing had she continued another 17 minutes.
Just. Ick. Lousy experience.
FLEETS, DON'T INFLICT THIS ON YOUR TEAMS
PS: whilst in yard move, if you spend less than 5 minutes hooking up, it won't let you enter new trailer numbers or load information.
Clearly drafted by people who have never seen the inside of a truck.

Motive is horrible

-I wish you could give them negative stars …honestly the worst professional business experience I’ve ever had in my life. I have no clue how they sponsor golfers on PGA Tour. Actually, they do it because they just take people’s money like me.

I’ve called 50 times I’ve emailed more. Someone with a broken American accent calls me back and tells me that they have pushed my case up.

I have five truck and trailers that require ELD’s.. they sent me 10 units to keep in my office for future hires. They promised and explained that I would only be charged when the units were installed .. We’re going on two months now they’re trying to charge me over $2000 each month. I’ve called my bank and put a cancel on it and have been trying to get someone from motive to call me back for two months now….

I would recommend if you’re getting in the truck in Business to not call this company. They are foreigners who lie and they will not answer the phone…. Literally the whole company won’t answer the phone.

I now have thousand dollars invested in this company and I have five drivers running paper logs because motive doesn’t have the decency to call one of their clients back. I am filing BBB reviews, and going to destroy them on every platform known to man.

New update sucks

Now it wont let you wait the on duty time !!!
Need to Watch it all the time. Once you forgot to switch it between on and off duty then no chance to edit!!!!! Geotab is 1000% better.
Besides lots of problems.

Newest update bricked it

Cannot use eld after update..stuck on one settings screen for logs . Useless

Terrible

Falsely accused innocent drivers of running stop signs that don't exist sending bad data to insurance companies. While penalizing driver for reporting not wearing seatbelt 5-10 times a trip.

It won’t show my available HOS anymore.

Need an update again

Whenever I go to login it says that I’m logged into another device and I’m not logged in on another device. This app needs to be able to run smoothly because we use it everyday.

the APP shows i have a dispatch available but will not show up when i click on it. beyond frustrating
