Please update every device • Update MoveToPlay on every iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch in your family. Devices still on an older version stop syncing until they're updated. Safer family sharing • Adding another parent's device now uses an Apple invitation to that person, instead of a pairing code. If your family paired with a code before, you may need to send a new invitation once. More private • "Something hurts" reports and exercise details now stay on the device where they were recorded. Only minutes sync through iCloud. • Walking minutes count on days MoveToPlay syncs on the child's iPhone. Fixes • Each child's game time is separate: one child's session never unlocks a sibling's apps. • If a trial or subscription ends, you can still turn app locking off. • Fixed rare cases where minutes could be lost or counted twice when two devices synced at once. If MoveToPlay can't tell, it now asks you. • The parent screens lock again when you switch to your child's tab. • Fixes for the weekly reset, guaranteed daily minutes on Apple Watch, and ending a session early on an Apple Watch that's offline.

FAQ
What is MoveToPlay?
MoveToPlay is a family app designed to help manage children's activity and screen time. It allows kids to earn screen time minutes by completing chores and exercises, which they can then use to unlock play sessions set by parents.
How does MoveToPlay work?
Children complete approved chores or physical activities (strength, balance, cardio, recovery) to bank minutes. These banked minutes, which never expire, can be spent on pre-defined play sessions like games or apps.
Can MoveToPlay be used on Apple Watch?
Yes, exercises, instructions, and rep tracking are available natively on Apple Watch, allowing children to complete activities without needing an iPhone or iPad.
What are the parent controls in MoveToPlay?
Parents can set chore values, activity payout rates, weekly earning maximums, and define available play sessions through a PIN-protected dashboard. Chore templates are also available to simplify setup.
Does MoveToPlay have ads?
No, MoveToPlay is ad-free, allowing for an uninterrupted experience for both parents and children.
What are the subscription options for MoveToPlay?
MoveToPlay offers both Monthly and Annual subscription plans. The Monthly plan costs $0.99 per month and includes a 14-day free trial. The Annual plan is $9.99 per year and also includes a 14-day free trial.
How does MoveToPlay handle children who get overstimulated?
MoveToPlay includes a 'Calm Mode' toggle for parents. When activated, this mode disables full-screen celebrations, haptics, and bounce animations that might overstimulate easily overstimulated children, while still showing exercise demos.
Can multiple children use MoveToPlay?
Yes, MoveToPlay supports siblings, with each child having their own bank, quests, progression, and reward history. A child's device will only display their own data.
