Convenient and it worked

Traveled to Maui. Booked car rental through Movly. Car came from Budget car rental but it was easy and a little less expensive with Movly. We will definitely use this again.

Hand off to Budget and lies about terms

Was notified that my rental would be through Budget and to proceed to the Fastbreak line. After waiting a half hour in the fastbreak line I was told that my reservation was NOT fastbreak and that I had to wait in the general line… another hour plus wait. Will not be using this service again.

Hello Trannon, Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this to our attention. I'm really sorry to hear that you had to wait extra because of it. As a partner, we receive rental instructions directly from the supplier. In some cases, the Fastbreak information is included automatically first in those instructions, and you would have had to scroll down for general instructions. Unfortunately, Budget does not permit Fastbreak access for our customers, and this is a restriction set by them rather than something we can modify on our end. We truly appreciate you notifying us about this issue, as it helps us continue working with our suppliers to improve clarity in the instructions provided to customers.

Inflicted Budget Car Rental on me

The process was great, except that my rental ended being from Budget, the lowest rated car company. Without getting into details, it was a nightmare from the moment I got in the hour-long line for a car they didn’t have. So the problem with Movly is that you don’t know what you are getting and they are apparently willing to send you to the lowest quality company. And you don’t know until it is too late.

A bit scary with update

I’ve been asked to give a review of the early part of the process, before I’ve picked up my car. The app worked fine and led me through the steps easily. I didn’t give it 5stars because I was really creeped out having to provide photos of myself and my license to a company I’d never heard of before.

I saw that it was used a lot in Europe, so I proceeded with my rental. Whether it’s there when I arrive, and they know who I am, remains to be seen.

Turns out, everything went fine. The rental was with Budget, so all I had to do was make my way to that desk and the car was waiting. It was a perfectly fine rental and I would use Movly again if it was available.
