Hey @Hyperoptic!!

Do you read these reviews??

Finds Minihub but then says “wrong password” despite using the password on the device itself

It doesn’t seem to work despite what hyperoptic says

A total disaster to change password

Don’t use this to change password!!! What a disastrous broken app…

Can’t connect

It keeps connecting me with the wrong device

This app does not work unfortunately

It will not connect to a router it’s designed to connect to. Just entirely non-functional. And the router WebGUI is so barebones for the Zyxel EX7710-B0 that you can’t do much in the way of troubleshooting outside of unplugging and replugging in the router or resetting it. Very unfortunate, as I’m troubleshooting bufferbloat and seem to have hit a wall because of bad software for the router control i.e. this “app” if you can call it one, given it’s a nothing burger regarding functionality. I’m not typically one to complain on app reviews, but bruh 💀

FAQ

What does the MPro Mesh app do?

The MPro Mesh app allows users to manage their Zyxel MPro Mesh Wi-Fi 6 whole-home managed Wi-Fi system. It provides features for viewing the home network, managing connected devices, setting up Wi-Fi, creating guest networks, and implementing parental controls for internet access.

What are the key features of the MPro Mesh app?

Key features include remote access to the MPro Mesh gateway, viewing all connected devices on home and guest networks, changing Wi-Fi names and passwords, enabling guest networks with custom credentials, and the ability to instantly block internet access for client devices. It also facilitates the addition and configuration of extenders.

Is the MPro Mesh app free to use?

Yes, the MPro Mesh app is a free subscriber self-help application. It does not have in-app purchases or advertisements, and its use is included with the Zyxel MPro Mesh compatible Wi-Fi 6 gateways and extenders.

What devices are compatible with the MPro Mesh app?

The app is designed to work with Zyxel MPro Mesh compatible Wi-Fi 6 gateways and extenders. For iOS users, the app requires iOS version 13 or later. Note that certain functions, like instant blocking, may only be supported by the gateway and not by extenders.

How can I set up a guest Wi-Fi network using the app?

The app offers a one-click guest Wi-Fi setup. You can easily enable a separate guest wireless network and create a unique name and password for it, allowing visitors to connect to the internet without accessing your main home network.
