Mubi Go no longer works at my cinema of choice - Hyde Park Picturehouse in Leeds. Now the only close option for me is the Everyman - if I want to go to the cinema with someone, their ticket would cost more the cost of 2 tickets at Hyde Park Picturehouse. This had made Mubi Go completely useless for me - I’d only ever use it if I was going to the cinema by myself. Cancelling my subscription now.

Great idea but can’t seem to catch the films I want to see

Would love to be able to switch my ticket up for a baby screening.
Not very mum friendly, ( but then again baby screenings aren’t really MUBI friendly) and I understand that’s such a small margin of customers require that service. But the option would be great.
I keep missing the films I actually want to see. Would also be great to have the option to see a past film of the week..

Tickets not accepted

I’m currently at the Nitehawk cinema in Brooklyn for Die My Love. The theater does not have the movie programmed into their system for Mubi Go, therefore they are not letting people in with the app. What a waste of time.

Not sure yet, will update

I’m on the trial and the first week it just said the movie (The Mastermind) was no longer available. This week it popped up the day before with Frankenstein only at one grimy theater north of the city (Seattle). I’m reserving judgment and I’m glad that I did get to see Frankenstein with it but I’m hoping more cinema options in more central areas and I’d love even one more day of notice for what the film will be.

Lo contrate ya que vi que si tenían cines participantes cerca de mi ubicación y resulta dque no van a proyectar ni hot milk y tampoco bird las cuales son películas que deseaba ver y por eso motivo cancelaré toda suscripción a MUBI !! Que tristeza 😭

No value for money outside london

If you don’t live in London this is a complete waste of money. It’s been the same film for four weeks now my area. Before that, it was the same film for three weeks. Whereas they are not technically lying when a say ‘a hand-picked cinema ticket every single week’ it’s also not exactly being entirely honest either by failing to make clear it might be the same film for several weeks. There’s a big difference tickets for two films, vs tickets for two. I’m stuck with the annual membership and it’s so not worth it.

If the latest Film of the Week isn’t playing at a partner cinema near you, you will be offered a ticket to the most recently selected film that’s playing near you. You may later become eligible to redeem a ticket for the film once it arrives in additional cinemas. However, the app will continue to prioritize the newest selection. We aim to select films that are available at a variety of cinemas, but cannot guarantee they will be showing at the same venues every week. We also add new MUBI GO partners whenever possible, so keep an eye out.

excellent value and good films

Using this in New York and have had great experiences at each of the movies I’ve seen over the last few months. Movie theaters don’t balk the way they used to at Moviepass.
