Hello Dan_M, We really appreciate your review. You have pointed out what we will be improving in the next update and that is better instructions. The Mud Finder app has a built in wizard that allows any user to identify a new trail system. Actually, over 90% of the trails listed in Mud Finder are user reported. All you have to do is click on the locations button and right on the screen is a Plus icon. This will start the wizard allowing you to add a new trail system, even if you have no cell connection at the time. Actually, this only starts a process. While the trail system will show in the app, we have a team of people that will then work to validate the trail system exists, and also fill in all the other info that we can find out about it such as surrounding medical facilities, lodging, etc. We value our users input and will work to improve the instructions on how to use the app and how locations can be downloaded so they are usable even when you have no cell connection, etc. Check out our recently added Mud Tube on our webpage for location based photos that show cool places to visit out on the trails.
