What's New in Munro Bagger

2026.062

October 26, 2026

From checking the forecast to reliving the summit views, we've been polishing the little things that make a day in the hills easier to plan and better to remember. - **Get to know your next hill.** Open MWIS and Wikipedia links from hill details, and check typical distance, ascent and walking time where enough community activities are available. Hiking stats now use the median, so unusual outings don't skew the picture. - **See your day on the map.** Activity routes now show start and finish markers, with summit names on the full-screen map. Less guesswork when looking back at where you went. - **Give the weather some room.** Detailed forecasts now have their own full-screen view, making it easier to browse the conditions before heading out. Today's detail is available to everyone; future days require Pro. - **Put the views centre stage.** Activity photos open with smoother zoom transitions, giving your summit shots a little more of the spotlight. - **A fresh look, with fewer rough edges.** Refreshed Explore controls on supported iOS devices, tidier profiles and sheets, and better header layouts for larger text. Route elevation charts now respect your preferred units too. - **More walking, less troubleshooting.** Fixes for, password-reset flows, notification badges and overlapping headers round out the release.

Excellent App

Very useful and meaningful, it makes a significant difference from complicated apps. Great to track your progress with Munros.

Simples

Fantastic app to keep a digital record of all of your Munro bagging outings. App is simple to use, informative, runs very sleek & smoothly, great community features too.

Great if you want to see where your at with munrows

Love this app but would add gps to see munrows close to you but otherwise great app

Response from developer

Thanks Patrick. GPS on the way…got some other features to release first 🥳

Excellent iOS app for Bagging

Cool that you can go back in and edit plus add 3 summit photos, would be great to add the subsidiary tops like Beinn a' Chròin East Top 940 m and many others. Maybe for a future update for crazy baggers like me!

New map format

I’m afraid I don’t like the new ‘Explore’ format - less easy to discern those bagged and still waiting
