About
Muscle Maps is a location-based walking game built around nearby zones, quests, and steady progress.
Open the map, find zones around you, walk into range, and capture them for XP. Daily activity and movement help you progress, but the core loop stays simple: explore, capture, and level up.
Muscle Maps Plus is an optional monthly subscription for users who want a larger catch-up/progression loop. Plus unlocks rolling 30-day step claims and 5 worldwide zone captures per subscription period. Step claims read HealthKit step totals only after the user grants Health access, and Health data stays on device for gameplay.
What you can do:
- Discover nearby zones on the live map
- Walk into range and capture zones for XP
- Complete daily quests tied to movement and exploration
- Track optional step-based progress with Health and Motion
- Save optional AR Collectibles to your Treasure Chest
- Use Muscle Maps Plus for 30-day step catch-up and worldwide captures
AR Collectibles is a secondary feature. If you choose to use it, the app can create stylized collectible previews from frames you capture on device. Apple Intelligence image generation is user-initiated and optional.
Privacy:
- Location is used to place nearby zones and measure activity progress
- Camera is only requested if you open AR Collectibles
- Health and Motion access are optional
- Camera frames, motion data, location history, and Health samples stay on your device for gameplay
- Feature requests and optional developer update opt-in are user-initiated by email
Muscle Maps is designed to make walking feel structured, local, and game-like without turning the app into a complicated tracker.
