Best earbuds so far
The Pi8 is the best pair of earbuds I’ve owned in my very limited experience. Up until now the best I’ve owned were the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2. I own a Jabra Elite Pro 7 and Klipsch T5 mclaren. I’m using the Pi8 with a iPhone 15 and this is the only earbuds or headphones that I actually can’t handle at MAX volume. The quality and accuracy of the Pi8 are on par with my Klipsch Cornwalls loudspeakers and sound system in one of my vehicles that has focal speakers and PRO 8|30 DSP MOSCONI GLADEN PRO LINE 8 CHANNEL CLASS A/B AMPLIFIER. To achieve this kind of sound quality I usually have to spend a lot more than the price of a pair of Bowers & Wilkins Pi8. “Money Well Spent “

Amazing Brand
An app does what it need to do. The headphones by the brand are one of the best out there! You will hear details you never noticed on a song you have heard a million times. I highly recommend!
App won’t verify new users
So poor. A never ending loop that I have found no solution too. You click the verify email but the app does not see this and does not allow you to open the account and access the headphones options. Disappointing for a premium product
QA much?
First and foremost, I don’t think anyone actually has tested the signup workflow to make sure it works. Sign up with Gmail vs signing up with email that’s a Gmail adress once one failed was a complete disaster, with the UI being extremely buggy for the signup process. Ultimately it wasn’t possible to register on the app, and after much frustration I tried the website instead. Worked right away. Then I just took those credentials to the app and I was able to login. If I hadn’t tried the website instead of the app I would have given up and returned the headphones. Complete garbage.
Now onto why I decided to write a review, after having put all that behind me. I was just on a flight, without over WiFi over the pacific for 10 hours. Of course the app had logged out on its own, and of course you need to be online and login just to control your headphone settings? So stupid. Why do I need an account at all? Why do I need to be online to change a setting on a device already connected over Bluetooth? Dumb dumb dumb

Pi8 not working
Cannot open up the app. Why did I spend $800?
Worst app ever
Tried to sign in 31 times to activate new headphones. Forget it. I’m sending headphones back. Audiophile headphones perhaps? But lo-fi quality app. What a joke.
App has some major flaws
Cannot log in any longer, says my user name and password are not valid, cannot change, reset, set new account. Really a mess for such a legendary brand. Customer service support on this are zero help. Cannot even use the app with a brand new B&W headset, likely have to return it. Same issue on the website. Brands going downhill and I have had their equipment for decades. App is worthless at this point as they say they cannot fix it.

Terrible
It will not allow me to verify my email, the link in the email just takes me back to the app and nothing happens, rendering it completely useless.
Not the promised experience
Gorgeous to look at. That’s the good. Comfortably the least easy to connect to wireless speaker we own - compared to Sonos and Bose. 9 times out of 10 it requires turning off and on again at the wall to wake it into life. No success in having it make a sound over wifi connection so it’s turned out to be a quite expensive phone driven device.

Don’t bury the useful bits
I use the tone controls quite regularly yet these are at the bottom of the screen along with the ANC selection. Although the ANC can be selected using the button on the headphone, tone cannot. A Home Screen widget with these controls would be ideal rather than having to open the app each time. Great headphones though…(Px7 2Se)

Terrible app, great speaker
Terrible app, takes forever to download and does not connect. The speaker is great though. It works perfectly without the app and I am very happy with it. Safe yourself some data and do not download this useless app

Email Verification
It will not let me verify my account with my email (tried probably 100 times). It shows up in my email and when I press it, it takes me the same page asking to verify my email. Very annoying.
Great in basic; disappoints in fancy
B&W Music is a wonderful way to converge your various streaming services and your library into one interface… an intelligent interface that seeks to understand your preferences up front and present you with appropriate music. It provides fabulous sound on both the B&W pi8 IEM and px8 headphone.
But…
Despite its manual’s protestation otherwise, it only works easily for Bluetooth transmission, at least for me. Making it send its signal out of the device’s USB is fiddly at best, impossible at worst. That cuts you off from some of the most attractive features that make B&W special — the highest-quality BT transmission from the IEM case plugged into the source USB, the direct-wire USB transmission from source. The manual is too brief on these topics.
So in short, the plain works fabulously, while fancy is fiddly.

Needs work
This app deserves a great widget. Toggles for ANC and immersive sound, EQ and track controls.

Does the job, but needs streamlining
I wish they would give the user the option to edit the interface. This app would be sooo much better if you could excise everything below the noise cancellation & pass-through buttons. Recently Played, Curated by Bowers, Browse Services, & Discover More are a waste of space.
What a joke
I don’t know why Bowers & Wilkins would hire incompetent people to make and run this app, yet here we are. Stuck in an endless cycle of resending verification emails yet I press on the “verify” button and it never works. It doesn’t make sense why I’d need an account to change the sound settings anyway. This app and their subpar sounding px7 s3 headphones that are worse than my 10 year old Bose headphones have forever turned me off from the brand.
