Pitch changes randomly
I like the app, but the pitch keeps changing randomly. It’s kept doing it through multiple updates. Makes it almost unusable.
My favorite for transcribing music
This is a very good app. I use it on my iPad to learn guitar solos and parts. When using apps like this to transcribe music, I want the app to be very responsive and make it easy to rewind and play without too many taps or too much dragging. I also want to be able to use songs from Apple Music in addition to purchased and other audio files. I have tried about a dozen of these apps and this is my favorite. The interface is simple enough and easy to use it doesn't get in the way when trying to learn a song or solo. My favorite features are:
- Overlapping loops can be created. A loop can be created for an entire guitar solo and then additional loops that are parts of the guitar solo so you can easily focus on the hard licks.
- Align loop start and end. After creating a loop, you can tap the align button to easily set the start and end of the loop. This is much easier than trying to scrub along the playback to find the perfect moment.
- The controls for scrubbing along the timeline and controlling the speed are positioned immediately below the waveform/timeline display. They are horizontal sliders that are easy to access and use.
It isn't perfect but the developer is actively developing the app and does respond to bug reports. I reported a bug where a loop will sometimes restart at the beginning before it hits the end. It happens infrequently so it doesn't deter me from using the app.

Great App
A great aid for learning the guitar. Worth paying the small fee to unlock some excellent features. Love the playback delay!
Apple Music import has problems
Multiple issues. I have purchased the Apple Music subscription feature, but
- it can’t find certain playlists, like the one I set up specifically in Music with tunes to learn
- failed to import some for unknown reasons
- waveforms are unavailable
There is a separate iTunes feature, for no apparent reason; it *does* find the playlist, but says I only have the “free version” of the app, which is silly, and so can only import 5 songs. And then fails to import some, saying they need to be downloaded, but they are.

Multiple app issues
This would be the perfect app but it has so many basic issues. 1, it will just randomly go back to thr beginning of the track after stopping and restarting. 2, has issues with audio bluetooth playback when switching devices such as car and AirPods. 3, playback controls do not work with AirPods so when I’m looping a track and click play it plays another app’s audio which is super annoying. 4, half the time it won’t work in my car at all. Stopped working
Worked great for a while, when I went to use it today, it won’t open any of the loops I saved. Every song I try to open it says: The operation couldn’t be completed. (MPMusicPlayerControllerErrorDomain error 6.) Please assist!

Can’t get it to work with songs that I have in my ITunes library
Not working for me - iPad Pro, acts like it is loading songs into the library, but nothing there.
Could be just what I’m looking for…
Trying out the Music+ & really like it so far but ran into what could become a Show Stopper issue where I cannot adjust the volume once the app has been started. Any recommendations?
