Vinyl Tracker / Übersicht Plattensammlung
Mittlerweile bin ich so glücklich über die tolle App die in ihrer Vielfältigkeit unbeschreiblich ist.
Vielen Dank an das Entwicklerteam und toll das es immer wieder Neuerungen gibt. Nicht zu vergessen das auch weiterhin an der Weiterentwicklung der App gearbeitet wird.
Für jeden der irgendwann den Überblick über seine gesammelten Vinyl’s verloren hat ist dieses Programm / diese App unverzichtbar. Besonders ist, durch die Cloud geführte Struktur, das man immer sein aktuelles Vinylarchiv verfügbar hat, sei es auf dem PC, Smartphone oder auf dem Tablet.
Des weiteren ein Automatischen BackUp gibt wodurch das bereits angelegte Archiv auf einem persönlich festgelegtes Ziellaufwerk gesichert wird.

Auf den ersten Blick ganz gut, aber…
Neuester Hit auch die Sortierung der Künstlerliste…da werden auch Bandnamen nach Nachname, Vorname sortiert…denn wer kennt sie nicht, die legendären Sabbath Black und Zeppelin Led.

Danke dir für deine ausführliche Bewertung und für die ehrlichen Hinweise. Die von dir genannten Punkte und Anregungen sind sehr hilfreich und werden mir dabei helfen, die App weiter zu verbessern. Natürlich ist es nicht beabsichtigt, dass Bandnamen auf diese Weise „verdreht“ werden. Das werde ich mit dem nächsten Update korrigieren. Bezüglich des Problems, dass Einträge oder Künstlernamen verschwinden: Das sollte definitiv nicht passieren. Schreib mir bitte eine E Mail, damit ich dir direkt helfen und gemeinsam mit dir eine Lösung finden kann. So kann ich mir deinen konkreten Fall genauer ansehen und dich bestmöglich unterstützen. Expensive app!
Fantastic App for cataloguing Vinyl and CDs
Because there are so many ways to personalise the App to your own specific taste, it did take me a little time to get familiar with using it. But now that I’ve invested that time, I believe the App rewards you with what I feel is almost a bespoke user experience. The way it links into Discogs to obtain the metadata for your LP or CD is excellent as well. Also as an Apple user I like the GUI display. The backup facility is good and should be taken advantage of too.
It is also worth mentioning the App support. I have had, on two or three occasions, reason to email support and have found it be excellent. It is quick, professional and it’s patently obvious that the user experience is core to the companies ethos. And as an ex IT Manager who appreciates good technical support, this alone is worth a lot.

VERY PLEASED SO FAR, MORE COMMENTS TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW
Music Tracker does everything I want it to do and syncs to my iphone perfectly. The app responds very quickly and accuratly when I need to enter a new cd or lp and the ability to edit some of the text fields makes it work well for my need.
One minor popint, I do wish I could eliminate some of the genres that I'll never use but keep coming up. FOLK,WORLD,COUNTRY as one genre does not fit for me at all and each time it pops up for a new entry I have to delete it from the genres list.
I also do not quite understand what SPACES is all about. Perhaps I'll figure that out at some point. (have since figured this out)
Also, Since my initial review, I've discovered the ability to scan barcodes with my phone, and this saves hours of searching through an online catalog for the exact album. this feature alone makes MUSIC TRACKER well worth it for me.

Vielen Dank für deine Rezension und dass du das Problem gemeldet hast. Das Hinzufügen neuer Alben und die Synchronisation zwischen iPhone und Mac sollten selbstverständlich ohne Schwierigkeiten funktionieren. Wenn du mir eine E Mail schreibst, helfe ich dir gerne direkt weiter. Oft handelt es sich nur um ein kleines Synchronisationsproblem, das sich in wenigen Schritten beheben lässt.

Beste App
Die Suche nach Titel und Interpret funktioniert gut. Aber wünschenswert wäre eine Ausweitung der Suche nach Namen in den Credits.

Great interface, no real free version
Even just including for free users, a basic “my library” “wish list” and then making additional spaces a premium feature would make more sense to me. Altogether a great app, but I probably won’t use it for these reasons if I’m being honest.

The philosophy behind Music Tracker is a bit different. It’s not meant to be a general productivity tool or a social database, but a focused, privacy-first app designed specifically for organizing and exploring your own music collection. Everything is stored locally or in your iCloud account, with no tracking, no analytics and no external services collecting your data. Features like Spaces, automatic online search, metadata, statistics, widgets, smart lists and iCloud sync are all built specifically for this purpose, so the app can give you a polished, native experience across iPhone, iPad and Mac without depending on third party platforms. As for pricing, I try to keep a balance that allows me to maintain and improve the app without ads or selling user data. Offering unlimited features for free would simply make the project unsustainable in the long run, especially since this is a one-person indie app. The free version is there to let you try the core experience, while the Pro version unlocks the full set of tools for people who really want to get the most out of their library.
