Can’t Login Via App
You can only access your account via a web browser.
Very hard to use
I’ve purchased a piece of music but it is not showing up in my library and I can’t find it to print it. I’ve bought 10 copies for a choir and I’m finding I get diverted to the app and there it says to go to the web sight as it’s not available on the app 🤷♂️
Annotations load slow when turning the page
I’ve had the app and subscription for about a week or two and I really like the music library and overall love the app. Although, the annotations that I made on imported files lag for a bit before appearing. My major concern is whenever I’m playing my piece and turn the page, my annotations aren’t there and it interrupts my performance and or practice. Other than that, really think that this is a great app for musicians and I definitely recommend the yearly subscription.

Waste of money. Complete scam
Spent 10s of dollars buying music with the extra pdf option only for the download pdf function to always fail. Wasted a bunch of money on a feature that doesnt even work. The app was coded by 3 year olds. Do yourself a favor and just screen shot and create a pdf. Dont be a fool and waste your money.

Frustrating. My purchase was right there in the my library but it “couldn’t find it” to print.The AI chat help was useless and, frustratingly, asked for name, email, and order number repeatedly. Finally got referred to an “agent”. Haven’t heard back
Personalized Music Book
I love the many genre of music to choose from. The ability to own the simplified music and the more advanced music notes are perfect for building repertoire. I see many years ahead of Musicnotes membership! Excellent service for all levels of musicians!

A Really Great Music Application! I have used this program for years and have not found any service that even comes close to it
Subpar and no clear way to cancel
The app might work OK if you try to do everything on a single device, but the reason I subscribed to this so I could sync my music across different device devices. This is kind of pointless because you have to re-download your music on every device. To make things worse, there’s no clear way to cancel your membership. I finally found it buried and hidden after looking at all their support documentation which was of no help and trying to contact their support which wasn’t open. Also, the markup functionality really sucks. There’s no undo button so anytime you want to undo something You have to select the eraser make it really big, erase, then go back and select the pen and make that small again. And by the way, there’s no way to make the pen the right size. you have to just try your hardest to get the slider in the right spot and then if it’s not the right size you have to go through the entire erase process again.

The fact that I have to pay like 4+ bucks for ONE song that I don't even know is good quality is kinda dookie, but being able to play the sheet music is a sweet feature and the only time I can get sheet music is in highschool during the school years cuz its through this one teacher who has like literally every musical theatre sheet music known to man

App needs SERIOUS repair!
Since this last update, I am struggling to access music I have just purchased. The very large QR code and the blue “view your music” button take me to my app store to purchase the app first. I already have the app!! I updated, but still can’t access that way. I have to go to my account and go through print your music or order history. In addition to all that, I purchased a title in two different keys, but order history shows only one purchased key.
One last thing- the “view receipt”button does not bring up the receipt at all. It takes me right back to the big QR code to purchase the app! PLEASE FIX ALL THIS!!
I use this app a lot, and would very much like a “reset” to the previous version.
Three stars because I can EVENTUALLY get to my music to print. But I cannot access receipts at all.

Only lets you print the cover sheet after purchase. Be sure to use your credit card and not Apple Pay so you can get your money back.

Playing piano hands separately is a key stage in learning a new piece. Allow playback for left hand or right hand or both. At least playback for treble staff or bass staff or both. You know which staff has notes. You don’t necessarily know which hand will play which. Thanks.

Great
so frustrating
i’ve been using musicnotes for a little while now and the app is unbelievably glitchy when it comes to purchases and transpositions. i’ve purchased a song 2 days ago, it hasn’t come through to the library, and support hasn’t gotten back to me. On that note, contacting support is awful. Literally got nowhere. Not even sure it was even lodged at the end of all that. Planning to dispute the charge with apple now.

Terrible app for flute
Awkward filtering to find flute music. Limited choices. While trialing the app, trying to use a Bluetooth foot pedal on the free version was complete frustration. Hit the pedal, and “sign up for Pro!” Pops up every time instead of a second page.
