A Really Great Music Application! I have used this program for years and have not found any service that even comes close to it
Subpar and no clear way to cancel
The app might work OK if you try to do everything on a single device, but the reason I subscribed to this so I could sync my music across different device devices. This is kind of pointless because you have to re-download your music on every device. To make things worse, there’s no clear way to cancel your membership. I finally found it buried and hidden after looking at all their support documentation which was of no help and trying to contact their support which wasn’t open. Also, the markup functionality really sucks. There’s no undo button so anytime you want to undo something You have to select the eraser make it really big, erase, then go back and select the pen and make that small again. And by the way, there’s no way to make the pen the right size. you have to just try your hardest to get the slider in the right spot and then if it’s not the right size you have to go through the entire erase process again.

And, I also inadvertently have a missing page—that is imperative.

The fact that I have to pay like 4+ bucks for ONE song that I don't even know is good quality is kinda dookie, but being able to play the sheet music is a sweet feature and the only time I can get sheet music is in highschool during the school years cuz its through this one teacher who has like literally every musical theatre sheet music known to man

App needs SERIOUS repair!
Since this last update, I am struggling to access music I have just purchased. The very large QR code and the blue “view your music” button take me to my app store to purchase the app first. I already have the app!! I updated, but still can’t access that way. I have to go to my account and go through print your music or order history. In addition to all that, I purchased a title in two different keys, but order history shows only one purchased key.
One last thing- the “view receipt”button does not bring up the receipt at all. It takes me right back to the big QR code to purchase the app! PLEASE FIX ALL THIS!!
I use this app a lot, and would very much like a “reset” to the previous version.
Three stars because I can EVENTUALLY get to my music to print. But I cannot access receipts at all.

Only lets you print the cover sheet after purchase. Be sure to use your credit card and not Apple Pay so you can get your money back.

Playing piano hands separately is a key stage in learning a new piece. Allow playback for left hand or right hand or both. At least playback for treble staff or bass staff or both. You know which staff has notes. You don’t necessarily know which hand will play which. Thanks.

Great
so frustrating
i’ve been using musicnotes for a little while now and the app is unbelievably glitchy when it comes to purchases and transpositions. i’ve purchased a song 2 days ago, it hasn’t come through to the library, and support hasn’t gotten back to me. On that note, contacting support is awful. Literally got nowhere. Not even sure it was even lodged at the end of all that. Planning to dispute the charge with apple now.

Terrible app for flute
Awkward filtering to find flute music. Limited choices. While trialing the app, trying to use a Bluetooth foot pedal on the free version was complete frustration. Hit the pedal, and “sign up for Pro!” Pops up every time instead of a second page.
App is Completely Useless
I am paying a lot of money for the Pro Premium version and I can’t even access my music library in the app. Literally, nothing is there. Completely useless.
Can’t live without his app
I love the is app and all the music. The subscriptions are worth it. I play for a small church and for a local nursing home. This is so helpful for songs that they ask for!!! Highly recommend. Easy to use
Pen function needs fixed
As a pianist I have to be able mark my music without it jerking and scribbling all over the page.
Pedal randomly stopped working with app during a performance and hasn't worked since
I was using my pedal to turn pages in MusicNotes for literal years when one day, it randomly stopped working. I followed all of the suggestions on their website, and it actually messed up the keyboard settings for my iPad in general. I'm not sure if it's the latest update, or maybe a strategy to get more people to purchase PDFs instead of reading from the app, but this issue has severely detrimented several of my professional performances already. I would definitely avoid this app until they have the pedal issue comletely resolved.

Major Systems Issues - No Correction 2+ Years!
Musicians who need a reliable app for performances; DO NOT USE THIS APP! I’m stuck with this app bc of the amount of music I have purchased in the many years I’ve had it. It shuts down MULTIPLE times during performances, closes the app out entirely in the middle of songs, freezes during searches, only lets me upload one song at a time for set list creations, and so on. I have tried tech support, I have updated my iPad, archived songs as suggested, and still nothing. I told tech support this and crickets. They offered me no further suggestions, no fixes.
So what do I do? Improv. I’ve learned to improv with one hand while reopening the app and finding the song with the other. I don’t recommend it, it’s stressful when you’re in the middle of, say, a wedding processional.
Do not use this app if you will want a large library, if you’ll want to import .pdfs, or if you want reliability. It’s been garbage for me for 2+ years but I’m too financial invested in the music purchased at this point to stop using it. So learn from me: try something else.

Glitches
Great app maybe more options for music and sometimes when I click on a song a video pops up for a second or the song can glitch out these are honestly some easy code fix’s with ai like Claude over all great job on the app

Awful.
This app is not good on the iPhone. Any music I bought is so small on the screen you can’t see it if it’s in portrait position, landscape is easier to see but doesn’t run smooth , flickers and judders all over the place making it impossible to follow. It’s pretty rubbish which won’t encourage me to buy more or pay for the app which I think is the point.
