The MVG Tickets 6091 app will be replaced by the MVGO app on October 22, 2024. We therefore recommend that you download MVGO now and transfer any existing tickets to MVGO. This offers all the important public transport features. MVGO is the mobility app for Munich and the surrounding area that combines public transport and sharing services. It includes: cell phone tickets, connection search with direct start and destination entry, disruption reports, live departure times, bikes, e-scooters, car sharing, charging stations and much more.

Easy once you can set up payment

This is much easier than the ticket machines. Suggestions for improvement:

1. Make it easier to set up payment. Why do I need to save a credit card, I should be able to use Apple Pay directly from my phone?

2. I am constantly guessing which zones I need to include. Can you add a way to determine my zone without breaking the simple flow to buy a ticket?

3. Can you add a way to determine my best ticket type without breaking the simple flow to buy a ticket? Today I almost bought the airport – city ticket but since this was my only journey a single ticket to zone 5 was €2 cheaper. I had to experiment to find out.
