My Authenticator app helps secure your online accounts by providing two-factor authentication (2FA). It generates secure, one-time passcodes that you use in addition to your password when logging into websites and services, significantly enhancing your online security.
Key features include the ability to secure multiple accounts within a single app, compatibility with over 100 websites and services that support 2FA, app locking with Apple ID or a passcode, iCloud backup and sync for your 2FA accounts, a home screen widget for easy access, and availability on Apple Watch.
The app operates on a subscription model, with options for $4.99 per month or $17.99 per year. Payment is charged to your iTunes Account upon purchase, and subscriptions automatically renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
The app is compatible with devices that support 2FA services, including popular platforms like Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Amazon. It also offers features like an Apple Watch app and iCloud sync, suggesting compatibility with Apple devices and services.
You can protect your accounts by scanning a QR code provided by the service you wish to secure or by entering the code manually into the app. The app will then generate a unique, time-sensitive passcode that you'll use during the login process to verify your identity.
