Impressive, nostalgic, slightly insulting business model
The app itself does a remarkable job of imitating the iPod, it's such a pleasure to use, bringing back all those nostalgic memories. The haptics are excellent, and the controls have been so fine-tuned it just feels like using an original iPod.
I think it could do with a few more imaginative music sorting features and filters to elevate it above the original iPod. There are no coverflow options at all.
What I find more than a little rude (I've never seen this from an app before) is having to pay £3 in the first place for it, but still having a 'get pro' menu item permanently irritating you on the main menu.
Come on! You shouldn’t do that… either respect your paying customers by at least hiding it in settings, or give it to users for free + paywalled features + ‘get pro’ menu item.
The paywalled features are a strange choice anyway. I’d happily have paid more than double for this app with everything unlocked, but subscribing on a yearly basis for a couple of extra features is a joke.

Apple Music sucks…I’m sorry to say. I don’t like being negative, but it’s true. I’m a fairly calm person but using Apple Music makes me angry.

Local Files?
As everybody else has stated already, the player is amazing! Feels great! Just wish you could add to it from our already saved local files instead of only relying on Apple Music. Just a thought :)
Great vintage vibe
I always wanted an iPod classic and with this app my good old OG iPhone SE is became one.
You need to do the « Konami code » and voila your Ipod.
Developper add feature regularly and premium is not obligatory.
Instead of a subscription for the premium I would much prefer a one time purchase or life plan even if it’s more expensive.

The coolest way to listen to music on your phone.
Great app - especially 2nd skin
One thing to improve: when touch wheel is selected as Model the liquid glass wheel and buttons are same color as the background and therefore extremely hard to see - could they be tinted with the click wheel color?

Insists on full photo library access
Doesn’t respect your decision to only limit photo library access. Annoys you with a pop up request to finally allow full access EVERY TIME you open the app. Developer wants your data. That’s all. Refunded.

I assumed I’d be able to add my own music files (FLAC)… didn’t realize I was tied only to the music I purchased from iTunes 20 years ago…
Nice but could be better
First, I upgraded to the pro version at 5.99/yr. Not exactly sure what I paid for. Unless I am missing something I saw no perceptible difference from the free version. Otherwise it would be cool if there was a sort by “Album Artists” option, a shuffle songs within an album or playlist option, and in cover flow it displayed the album artist name as well as the album title.

This app was amazing until now
This app was awesome and I recommended it to so many people, but now they introduced a subscription pro model. For an app that you already had to pay for I find it ridiculous that you’d even ask for a subscription, but that wouldn’t even be so bad if it didn’t pop up CONSTANTLY! I don’t care how cheap the sub is, it’s only like $5 a year, but if I don’t want to pay for it I shouldn’t have to see the pop up so often.

Almost perfect
The touch wheel is WAY too sensitive. It’s very difficult to precisely select what I’m looking for due to how fast and unpredictable the classic touch wheel is. I Love this, app And I hope this is fixed. Because I never want to stop using it. PLEASE FIX THIS
