Pros: Enjoy ease of check in, pre check questions, copays, telehealth, messages to care teams and so much more
Cons: The only downside in my mind is having test results immediately available to the patient. I feel like this causes patience to immediately go to the Internet to search what words and phrases mean when they should wait and be told by their physician.
But overall, it is a great product probably the Cadillac of all patient portals

The portal has been very valuable in communication with my providers. Also like being able to share with family members!
First class care
Any experience that I've had in the Vanderbilt system has been nothing less than first class. The difference in culture is noticeable the minute you walk into the hospital. Everyone is willing to help, and the follow up care is also excellent. Personal and empathetic.

My Chart
The My Health at Vanderbilt has now been combined with the Heritage Medical system called My Chart. It is extremely concerning to me and other patients to see our private medical information combined and accessible to other providers on one online site. I don’t recall granting permission for my VUMC medical records to be combined and displayed on the website of another medical provider. What happened to privacy and consent to disclose medical information?

So thankful
This app has come such a long way. My youngest has a medical condition that requires a lot of imaging and we used to have to make sure we always had latest images on discs when we travel. Now we have access to his scans through this app anywhere we go. It’s a game changer for us. This app gets better each year! Thankful!

This app is extremely helpful for all types of information regarding appointments, questions, prescription, refills, forms, directions, etc. and it keeps improving! So grateful for this app.
My Health App
Very difficult when you have more than one person in your family using the app. I cannot log into mine and my daughter’s account. I have called IT support but that has been no help.

Amazing Medical App
I love the Vanderbilt app! It’s easy to use, quick update, efficient communication with nurse/doc… it’s such an amazing app and make busy weeks seem less hectic!

MH@V often insists on payment for a copay.
After a 23-year military career, I have TriCare for Life coverage for copays.
This app gives no option for this, preventing going forward.

Indispensable!
I absolutely cannot imagine handling all of my appointments, medications, and communication with my doctors’ staff without having the app. I’ve had to do it before, but this is easier, faster, and gives eme access to the doctor’s notes, things I need to accomplish, and reminders about medications that need to be refilled. I’m able to complete pre-visit forms, surveys after every visit to communicate my satisfaction or dissatisfaction, and I have my list of meds with me at all times.
