I live 2 1/2 hours from Dr Siriam . I have MS and he has been my Dr for over 25 years . This avenue of communication is by far the easiest for me as I am sure it is for him to get my medications renewed, updated or even added too. I can also communicate with his nurse if there is ever a situation that arises and she in turn talks to him and gets back with me quickly.
This is a wonderful means of staying in touch with your Dr ., especially when you have a compromised health condition.

Healthcare
This is such a great way to keep up with all the details of my healthcare. Not having to call or write down every details helps so much to stay on top of things. I have found most practices are wonderful to respond to questions through the messaging section. This is so helpful for little details that might be a worry otherwise.

Pros: Enjoy ease of check in, pre check questions, copays, telehealth, messages to care teams and so much more
Cons: The only downside in my mind is having test results immediately available to the patient. I feel like this causes patience to immediately go to the Internet to search what words and phrases mean when they should wait and be told by their physician.
But overall, it is a great product probably the Cadillac of all patient portals
