Timing is wrong
The timing for the washing machines is wrong. It says my laundry is done and ready to remove but it still has over 20 minutes left.

My building just switched over to this company and their app and I’m so glad because I was always forgetting quarters and this makes my life so much easier.

What a horrible way to grift your user base out of money by mandating they add funds in 20$ increments. Embarrassing behavior and a lazy uninspired mindset.

Worst laundry app
I would give zero stars if the option is there , whenever I submit a service request nothing happens , I lost

Worst service application I ever had the displeasure of having to use
I have had multiple reoccurring issues with this application but to keep this review short I will write about the most recent issue where I have been trying to add funds to my account and they have been continuously declined, my bank’s customer service says they are approving the transactions on there end but MyMagicPass has been reversing the transactions, when I tried to reach out to MyMagicPass on the issue through email it failed to go trough and when I tried contacting there phone number the bot told me nobody could help me at this time and I was put on voicemail, I now have a basket full of laundry at my dorm that I am unable to do take to this app.

Infuriatingly makes laundry even more of a chore
The app is absolutely terrible at updating the status of machines. Every time I do laundry and am ready to use the driers, I can start one drier just fine but the app won’t let me start the second. It just has a message “wait 2 minutes”. Why?! And the 2 minutes is more like 5 minutes.
Trying to use a washing machine after it has just been used is just as frustrating. The app will say it’s in use for several minutes after the cycle is done. Then it often changes the message to “remove clothes” even though the machine is empty.
This awful app makes doing laundry take far longer than necessary due to the pointless waiting between uses.

Deff needs improvement
If there is a way to set up notifications (e.g. sounds) then it must be very convoluted. I would like to be able to set up five minute warnings.
When the machine is done it still shows on the app as busy unless you close app and re-open. Or open an empty machine for a bit to be able to add value. Maybe there needs to be a status “awaiting” if the machine is done but has not been emptied.
Also there does not appear to be a way to add money to a dryer until it is fully done so you have to wait in the laundry room to restart the machine.

It’s a Scam
I was going to use the machine at a hotel where the washer and dryer was $2 each. No problem. The app wants me to add $20. For the most part I’ll NEVER use the app again so why not just let me load the $4 and charge me a load fee? I can use Apple Pay or some other feature. It’s a scam to let them house additional cash value for an app that I may possibly never use again.

I miss the days before the switch to this app
This app makes laundry MORE difficult and I truly would prefer to pay with quarters or the old card system. After a load of laundry has run, the app will label the used machine with the instruction “remove clothes”. The catch is that the app doesn’t update when the clothes have been removed from the machine and you may need to wait, 10, 20, 30 minutes or even over an hour at times, before the machine is recognized as free and usable for a new load of laundry. I have walked into my laundry room where ALL machines are empty and there is no sign of when the last load of laundry was done, but every washer AND dryer is locked because the user still needs to “remove clothes”. On top of this, after starting one of the dryers in a stacked pair, the other dryer in the pair is locked from starting for some indefinite period of time. This was never an issue when we would swipe a card to pay to start the dryers. I have also had several occasions where my payment was processed on the app, but the app did not start the washer/dryer in reality. The fun part is that even if I wanted to pay a second time to start the machine again, the app thinks that the machine is running and, you guessed it, I’m locked out from starting it until I “remove clothes” and who knows when it’ll update that that has happened. Of course this would be a perfect time to request a refund- oh wait! There’s no way to do that in the app. So I go onto the website and submit a refund request (I’ve never received a refund). And, of course, there’s no way to request service to the app. I can request service to a specific machine, but I truly think those requests just go into the abyss bc I’ve never seen anything happen as a result of my service requests. So long story short, this app is barely functional, and I’m starting to prefer walking to a laundromat.

Why can't this app add the time remaining? The website shows it but this app neglects to include that. Please Fix!

Payment Issues
Paid for a dryer and the dryer did not unlock. I had to wait almost an hour for the next dryer.
Worse than useless
The app tells you machines are available that aren’t, and it tells you your wash is finished when it isn’t. It creates traffic jams in the laundry rooms because it’s literally always wrong.
Financial amateur
And that is being generous. There is no reason to demand a $20.00 deposit for a $2.50 job. Parking apps don’t. I just imagine how many people leave $5.00 because it’s a PITA to demand a refund. That makes this a scam. The AJ needs to demand refunds for everyone who has a “deposit” that has been left for 6 months or more. PS they have no support on the weekend. You know, when we do our laundry.
