Useless
The number to fax new prescriptions to is nowhere to be found. History does not exist even though there should be. Too many clicks to get to where you need to be. Prescription names are not brand names so you don’t know what’s what.

Lack of Professionalism
My workplace previously used Telus Health but recently switched to Sparrow. On Telus Health, the nurse practitioners were hands-on, empathetic, detail-oriented, courteous, and kind. However, I don’t know if it’s just my luck, but I’ve had five consultations with GPs through Sparrow so far, and four out of five have been honestly disheartening (in the span of three months).
The sessions always feel rushed, with little time given and few if any questions asked.
The most recent session was the tip of the iceberg for me:
I ordered my previous prescriptions on October 15th, and today is November 12th.
They're dispensed through a compounding pharmacy, which usually takes a week to make. I came for an online refill. The GP noted I have another refill with the pharmacy-which is fine-but her professionalism was very off-putting. She didn't ask if 'that's all' or if I had any other questions. There was no greeting, like 'hello' or 'hi.' She just came on and responded based on my brief description when booking the appointment. She didn't ask beforehand which medication I was referring to and provided information about one I wasn't even asking about, then said
'have a good night." I wanted to ask another question and even mentioned that I was going to, but after typing it out, I just erased it and left the consultation.
I’ve decided to stop using the free GP service offered through this app because I don’t want to feel like I’m burdening someone when seeking care for my health.
