Needs more development, it’s been 5yrs!
Please add the addl “off-grid” functionality you mention in the description . Id prefer to use this app but others support Rx/tx with an attached radio so there’s not much reason to come back to this app until you add functionality.

Not sure where this app gets APRS stations Igates and digipeaters but it is grossly inaccurate. It only shows one single aprs station in my county. There are at least 6 including mine that is not even showing up This app is a total waste of money. Save it and go to aprs.fi!, there you will have accurate reporting.

Cool app needs for information
Wish I could know what a green highlighted transmission meant vs. a regular non highlighted one. Also would be good to have a map legend to show what the different icons mean. In repeater mode does one color mean offline and another mean active and running? It’s hard to know. The app doesn’t tell you.

Works great for local use once you enter your location. Love that I can turn on and off gps within app to save battery when i’m not moving.

Useful app. Would be even better if you could search repeaters with any part of the name. I would use this for reverse repeater lookup from the frequency. Thanks for the app!
Fantastic app
Negative reviews are mostly dodos who couldn't be bothered to check the settings.
What you need to do is:
• Tap on Settings
• Tap on Change Location
• Enable Use GPS
• Kill the app and relaunch
The repeater map is quite impressive as well, and very useful.

Useful but feature misunderstood
For all of the reviews saying it only shows CA check out settings and enable GPS and it will show local. This works quite well. Don’t downvote this developer simply because you don’t know how to use the app.

Garbage
Shows aprs information for people 2000 plus miles away, nothing local.
Lots of potential
For what it does, it does it well. Displays data from aprs.fi, offline repeater database, and a few other things. Does not have ability to set your call sign and send your position, even over the Internet. Features are "in development". If the promised features are ever added this could be a great app.

This apps ability to show repeaters on the map is really cool.
Now it just needs the ability to share your position to the APRS network.
If this app wants to be competitive at all you need to add software based 300 baud & 1200 baud audio TNC capabilities allowing your users to connect their iPhone to VHF/UHF/HF ham radios via audio cable so the user can send send and receive APRS packets via RF without the need for any cellular or wifi internet connection.
Now it just needs the ability to share your position to the APRS network.

Interesting approach
An interesting approach to aprs reporting. Shows the packets received in a live column as well as the packet text. Seems to work fine.

Title page opens and then program crashes on both iPhone and IPad.
