Great app, but..

I love the clean design and science backed implementation of the app and it’s very useful to have a complication on my watch to see my current score. It would be great if the metrics could take into account any arrhythmic episodes from my atrial fibrillation or tachycardia. The Apple Watch records these events and they are stored in Heath, so it should be simple to remove these time periods from the metrics so that the results are not distorted. There is a setting in the Health app called ‘AFib History’ that when enabled turns off the Irregular Rhythm Notifications feature. Perhaps when this is active, it could be used as an automated way for MyBodyWatch to disregard any instances of Atrial Fibrillation or other arrhythmias.

Unexpected crash

The app won’t open in iOS 26

Response from developer

Oh no! Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry you're experiencing issues opening the app. I've checked our internal logs and 25% of our users are currently running MyBodyWatch successfully on iOS 26, so I'd love to help troubleshoot what might be happening on your device specifically. A few things that often help: - Try force-quitting the app and restarting it - Restart your iPhone - Ensure you've granted Health permissions to the App, Health -> Apps -> MyBodyWatch - As a last resort, try deleting and reinstalling the app If none of these work, please reach out to me directly at cliff@mybodywatch.app and I'll personally help resolve this. I take every user's experience seriously.

Good but needs the phone to update score

Edit: I didn’t realise I was the only review. It is a very nice app other than the issue I mentioned in my original review, which will impact some people more than others. Thanks to the developer for responding to my original review.

Original review: Nice idea but too reliant on the iphone. Even though the data comes from the watch, it needs the phone connected to update the score as shown on the watch. I have a cellular watch and often leave my phone at home, so not useful for me.
